It could be because close contact of some jamaican people to spanish speakers, in spanish "embrazar" it's an archaism that means "to hug" and it's almost identical, and the modern word "abrazar"; it happens the same with mexican people that live closer to the north, they use words or forms of the spanish language that are not the usual way of saying it in spanish but are closer to the english way of saying it.
This is my first time watching this and I'm crying knowing this wonderful man has passed away. May his legacy live on and his story inspire many.

Tax debt is never an easy thing in court. Even false swearing to a 1040 can bring 5 years in jail. Dimpleface Harriétte also if by some miracle he was able to raise all that capital at the end of the day he will have to keep paying franchise fees and commissions to this guys companies also will be required to buy all products and equipment from the franchiser for the rest of his life. So basically he will recover his 25,000 lost fee. It didn’t really cost him anything to begin with. So as to your comment better than nothing. No it is nothing that he received. Why didn’t he just give him the $25,000 in cash and see if the guy could start a hot dog cart or food truck. He then could make more than minimum and eventually open a restaurant of his own.

Oh my I love this! RIP Mr. Hawthorne. I was saddened by your passing. You gave the world so much. I hope your family keeps it going.
What a beautiful CEO and his staff are amazing. God Bless each and every one of them.
Ahhh, I want to be Jamaican, cook that amazing porridge and eat patties, talk in that accent and be all cool. OK, bit difficult even for the Undercover Boss and the Almighty to grant the wish of a 63yo Irish grandmother, I can dream ☺️

This is by far my favourite undercover Boss episode ever
Mr Hawthorne is truely generous and a good boss too. He worked so hard to make his business become sucess, or somehow other people get help as well. I wish there is more gooder boss like him in this planet.

Why did he kill himself?
One of the best undercover Boss I have seen thus far, as a fellow Jamaican myself i was choked up while watching I fight back the tears this mean so much for me and i wasn't apart of the show. I meet the Golden krust owner before he died once and he was such a humble and respectable person RIP Hawthorne Lowell.
This is why....these jobs should NOT be minimum wage. ~ “Fast food” servers
He punctuates the end of every sentence with bro. 🤣
Wow this guy has himself some really great employees, he's a lucky man.
So sad to know that such a good man passed. I enjoyed his episode especially because I live in NY. R.I.P my condolences to his family...

That's so sad.
This goes to show you never know who is going to bless you! So always be respectful and kind to everyone! You never know who your blessing is or in what form it might come to you! It is called grace! This man is blessing! May every day of his life, family, staff and customers be blessed always! 😍

FroProxel First of all I am a woman! Second of all he was a blessing before he passed away! People still can be a blessing after they are gone! Especially when it comes to life lessons! By kindness, compassion or being a role model! RIH sweet man! My deepest condolences to his friends, family and his staff! 😍
Each of these employees were so special, talented, wonderful souls. ❤
I love when Mike said I'm alive No amount of pain can hide ur smile 😊
Odean really touched me with what he said because this is something I've been feeling for a while now about "We didn't come here to skin teeth and play games; we come here to see if we can live the American Dream." Lately I've been feeling like everything will be okay if I can just get over there, but first I have a labyrinth of obstacles to navigate before I can get to that opportunity. I wish it was as easy as just getting on a plane but I'm really struggling... I want nothing more in my life right now than to go to America and take my shot. I'll work wherever I can find work to do just so long as I can have that chance.
I am glad to see the owner had a heart towards his employees.
