I think it literally means under heaven's skies, as in here on Earth with her. I only get deep, loving romantic vibes from it, not sexual ones...but that's just me.

Collective Soul is my favorite band. But I fucking HATE this song. And the only reason why I HATE THIS SONG SO SO SO SO SOOOOOOOOOO FUCKING MUCH is because Ed wrote it for his wife and I fucking wish that was me. Ugh fuck this pisses me off I'm so jealous.
