Keanes style with dry wit and easy to gauge stories and my brothers type, the long winded story where he goes off on a tangent and starts saying what appears to be random names and who they are related to and married to and there pets names and there bank account details

Roy Keane is low-key a comedy genius. He pretends like he is unaware and it's all accidental but I think he knows full well what his image in the public eye is and he plays with it for comedic effect, with a deadpan face as well. Love the guy!

Gary had limited ability but due to sheer will and hard graft he was a regular fixture in the United squad and a very important player. Other's with more ability don't have the fight in them and never realise their potential. Milner reminds me of Gary Neville, the way he extracts the maximum from himself despite not being the most talented player.

I don't want a politically correct friendly follow up question, I want to know what Neville, who was there in the buildup to all this, thought and what he had to say to Keane. You lose that when an intevewiers comes in and adds his two cents. He was rather rude to Neville first who even said can he follow up, and kept interrupting him too. Why do you want to reward that guy instead? Just a nonsense post from you.

I am a Londoner/Chelsea supporter. I saw the video length, and thought I would inevitably be skipping large sections. No chance. I watched from the first minute to the last. Roy Keane is one of a kind. Brilliant interview. Entertaining and interesting from start to finish. More of this please

Who'd love to see an interview like this with Keane and Scholes? Explaining their midfield partnership from how they lived it at the time. The balance of Keanes tackling, aggression, workrate and leadership with Scholes' passing range, football brain, ability to find space, switch play and arrive in the box at the right time and finishing ability was something special that will never be replicated again in modern football. Nicky Butt was also a brilliant midfielder that wasn't given the acknowledgement he deserved as a result of the brilliance of Keane and Scholes. I live near Paul Scholes and see him in the local pubs and it's crazy to just see him sat there having a pint chatting with his mates as though he was a post man on his day off. You'd never look at him as the same guy that Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, Vieira, Kaka and Seedorf said was the best player they'd played against. The humility of the man is irritating 😂

@TheGooners11 : Disagree with you. There are moments where Roy is clearly unstable. His attitude at stages is antisocial at best and borderline psychotic. There were times were he was engaging, honest and entertaining. However, there were times when his attitude can only be described as disgraceful. Also a hypocrite, having a go at an honest pro like Walters for for doing TV work, earning a living, the exact he does himself. But then again I have little time for Roy.

There’ll be a lot of people on here who didn’t see Keane play week in week out. He was simply magnificent, drove the team on fearlessly and with intense commitment. But he could play, kept it simple in and out of possession.He’d be the one player the opposition didn’t want to see on the team sheet.

This is genuinely brilliant, love how honest they both are. Roy is one of the last “say what you see” pundits and to hear his stories of how it actually was inside the dressing room back then was definitely one for the scrapbook. Thinking what a place Old Trafford must have been late 80s early 90s with Pallister, Bruce, Schmeichel, Keane, Robson, Stapleton, Irwin, etc. Gary is a top man too, magic to hear his angle on everything

Harsh but fair. He was part of a brilliant man Utd squad but had a nothing career outside of that. All respect to Fergie but that had to be nepotism.

Jack Reilly Good point, I didn't think of it in the sense Gary was left out somewhat. I still think he was rude and over the top though.

As a Liverpool fan, I used to hate these two in their playing days, but listening to them here is so compelling. Would loved to of seen Roy Keane play for us back in the day

Roy is bitter. He has the right to say what he said and to be upset, but you can't say Fergie did nothing good for him. Just like he may have done wrong by Fergie and the team.

Keane is a straight talking no nonsense man of his word, I'm an ardent Rangers supporter Roy played for celtic and I still love the guy, should be a politician he would clear the lot out.

Nice to see Keane and Neville remain so cordial despite the fall out at Man United. Really shows that its more of an issue with Ferguson and the club, than it was with any of the players. Keane was a natural leader, deserves the utmost respect. Was wrong to just let him walk like that, after all he had done for United. The fans won't forget, I certainly won't forget.

What a man... in this day and age of political correctness where honesty and loyalty is hard to come by i see this man... he will fight to death for his friends and for what he believes is right....

Roy Keane is great, brutally honest and does not suffer fools. Hard player and a great talker

I could listen to Roy Keane talk about football all day long. I love listening to him when he's on anylizing games, he says it how out it is.

Difference between Keane and Pogba.....Keane ran the United midfield while Pogba can't even be arsed running in the midfield.

As a Liverpool fan I must admit that Keane is the best captain that any team in PL has ever had.. What a character!

The interviewer almost spoilt parts of this, harsh lesson from watching this. Let the stars speak, loved this though would like to see it with other players

I know people talk about Roy and SAF and how it went south towards the end, but you could hear the respect he has for the boss even after so many years.

tremendous moment when a great player like Gary N. talks about his fails (that he did as a manager) in all details.... very impressive... I wish many other managers in companies are that honest with themselfs...no sugar coathing - not PR talk BS - straight ! Thumbs up!

Loved this,especially when Gary put the guy with glasses in his place what a rude host.

It's more likely they need another leader like Fergie, fantastic player he was, they won plenty after Keane's departure.

Keane was 3 players rolled into 1 for utd, great listening to his insight and experience with the beautiful game.

All the Liverpool fans on here are praising Keano, only, because he's having a go at Fergie. Give the man credit just for being a fantastic player.

I loved Roy Keane as a player, best captain of all time. Amazing pundit, says what he thinks - he`s as passionate as he was in his playing days. He always makes me laugh, at times I can't stop laughing. I adore Nev also. So glad I saw both play live numerous times.

Literally watching on repeat. This as good as an actual comedy show. So funny. Keane is very funny (even without being controversial). My daughter back me up - she was 1 😂 👏 these boys are on 🔥

How can things change so much in football that you go from a changing room full of Men like Bruce, Robson Hughes, Schmeichel, Ince, Pallister to now when I look at football and its just full of boys. Pogba is in his mid twenties but still reminds me of a teenager.

This is one of the best, most candid interviews i've ever watched, genuinely top entertainment throughout. Taking nothing away from Gary but Roy Keane should be on our tv's much more than he is.

Must have watched this 5-6 times. Love listening to Roy and Gary talk football.
