He's Gary Anthony Williams, often on whose line is it anyway, in fact just saw him on stage doing a live whose line a week ago in san francisco. And yes, he's lost a lot of weight and looks great. he'd probably do an even better live action uncle ruckus now cos he's so much healthier so he can bring more ruckus. He's also an amazing voice actor and he did a live improv Louis Armstrong song and his impression is incredible.

I don't think it would have gone well today because it's not like today people are ''more aware'' of the issues the show discusses, instead, they're extremely polemic and resort to diatribe by default. Dave Chappelle made very similar satirical comedy that The Boondocks did and look how ''mainstream'' audiences and the media treat him. They call him a racist at every single chance they get. And they miss the point of his jokes.
