Great movie I’m in Italian American from Jersey 53 years old, and this movie gave me flashbacks to my childhood. I had uncles straight from Italy come to visit all the time I was very close with my grandparents. They raised me so my great uncles, and my great aunts were very big part of my childhood i was raised by my grandmother and my mother, and in my case, I spent more time with my aunts, my grandmother sisters, people in America forget how important it is to sit down and have a meal and talk as a family and I hope this movie gives more Americans a clue. How disconnected they are from society and their children by not putting family first!!!!!!!!!

Yes I definitely agree.. I remember when my family had dinner together and that was when I lived in Pennsylvania in the 70's and I was in High school then and we sat down and had dinner together every night.. I really miss those days...

It’s soo scary to imagine next generation, the world gone so wild we have to be slow down enough of everything we just need each other nothing else, nothing else 😢

A lonely uncle with a guilty heart comes to America to family falling apart some how finds his way and in the process heals his American family's hearts and his own . A beautiful movie of love and forgiveness and how important this is .

This lovely movie reminded me that while I was raised in a dysfunctional family that back in the 1980's when I met my former husband's Uncle Ally (who didn't speak English) that he was so happy to meet me that I could tell that he loved me on sight. I'd never had such an experience and I will never forget it -- it seemed that on sight he could read my Soul and he more than approved of me. Everyone should experience this unconditional love at least once in their life and I am grateful that I did.

I took my breath away after watching this film. We almost lost our own children while rushing to pursue a career, but the motto of this film is that it ends well and that it was such an uncle who restored the balance in the family and changed the whole life of this family. . Well done Uncle Nino...

This movie shows us what's important. The people around us. I love this movie. Grazie.

Beautiful. Made me sad though, made realize how much I never appreciated my father for the skills he taught me, especially gardening. May his soul keep resting in peace!

An old Southerner at 81, I still have my garden, vegetables, flowers, and whatever the birds add. This beside my family is my joy. A beautiful heart warming movie, I so wish that more were made like this today. If they were, maybe the children today would be happier and their parents also.

This is such a wonderful movie. Made me shed tears while watching it. Truly, family is everything.

I went in Chicago visiting my cousins, I'm a Sicilian guy and went there, saw my cousins leaving their children's home alone ordering a pizza to eat and when they were home they only had breakfast together, at lunch one in each room on their own and I felt so sad for them, we in Italy and in Sicily especially live together the most of the day. Maybe the father go to work then he comes back to eat with a all the family...well at least it is still so in my hometown A little bit less ina big city, but we still know how important the family is...useless to say my Chicago cousins ended up divorcing...so sad.

Yes, very sad... For lots of reasons, including happiness, meaning of life and bad food. In the movie, I thought Uncle Nino was going to spit his first sip of coffee...

absolutely loved this movie and yes life can be beautiful if we want to see it and live it.

What a wonderful movie~ If more of our teens had an Uncle Nino to listen to them and show how their gifts are important, no matter how weird they may be, we might have a lot more teens that would listen to their elders and try to meet halfway on things! Don't be confused about this "American Dream" problem for the men too. And the men, it was the wife, Maria who stole the show. She had grace, compassion, understanding and moz def adorable. Find a woman who is adorable. I did and she is the true queen of my heart and life. . ❤❤

Well said, the family dynamics at least at beginning of the movie are very real and so very sad... No wonder families beak apart, they don't spend time together... To the point everyone is rude... The first thing that comes out of nephew's mouth after seeing his uncle for the first time in years is 'how long are you staying?'... He had just arrived...

*El tío Nino toca muy bien el violín! El sobrino heredó el amor por la música porque lo trae en la sangre 😃! Es adorable el tío Nino hizo muy bien en viajar e ir a conocer la familia de su hermano! Nino se ha ganado el cariño de su sobrino y sus amigos para tocar en la banda 🥰 Es triste ver como la gente se deja absorber por el trabajo se olvidan de lo mas importante que es la “ Familia “ el no convivir la falta de comunicación entre padres e hijos por eso muchas familias se rompen! Un hermoso gesto por parte del tío, regalarle a su sobrina Gina un perrito. Definitivamente Nino ha traído amor y unión a la familia! El jardín quedó bellísimo! So important to raise children with joy and love. So important to share happy mealtimes and recreations together! I know all too often parents will be so loaded down with responsibilities and worries that they just don't have time or energy enough for relationships with their kids. Uncle Nino was a catalyst for wonderful change for Robert and his family!
