In this video I am showing you a treasure trove of vintage children's clothing that was kindly given to me by a dear lady. She and I collect these sort of clothes and she was kind enough to share some with me. You can expect a lot of detailed shots of expert hand sewing, embroidery and heirloom techniques in dressmaking. #vintageclothes #handsewing #dressmaking
Later on in the video I share a future reconstruction project I shall be attempting. Recreating one of the vintage baby dresses in my collection, but in doll size.

As you start to feel the crunch of leaves underfoot where you are, here in Southern Australia the smell of yellow wattle blossom fills the air and dancing daffodils are smiling happily on the hills. Fabs this little box of delicious vintage children’s clothing is amazing I devoured it and watched it several times. So wonderful and inspiring. I’m going to watch along just because I’m enchanted. Thanks for sharing.

Happy spring days to my southern friends! I keep looking at all the pieces, not entirely believing yet they live with me! I am so darn lucky.

Oh, how exquisite all those pieces are! Thank you, Fabs for sharing with us another part of your journey through Wonderland - I love it. Here, down under, we are heading towards summer at the rate of knots. Hopefully, it will not be too scorchingly hot. At any rate, I will be thinking of you sewing by the fire.

Yes it is. I nearly screamed when I saw it hanging at the Antique's market...my heart was racing...and I kept staring at it on the drive home.
