I did a doubletake when I saw Linus holding a Cisco product, on the Cisco KZread channel of all places! Side note, I need one of these to replace a 4500X nearing EOL.

I want to see an enterprise hardware spinoff channel tbh. Would be insanely helpful.

I was just waiting for Linus to break it . He almost did too. Watching him is like waiting for a car crash in the INDY 500...You know it's coming.

@@9921-lv1vr I work on Cisco SDA implementation, this is beefy Fusion or Control Plane/Boarder node switch to use for large campus sites, so time will tell

The two RJ45 ports at the back, one is for serial console access and the other a dedicated management port for the switch. As for the two antenna ports, those are for timing signals (1PPS and 10MHz) to go into the switch for some specific needs that requires fixed timing between sending packets.

You guys sure know how to market your stuff huh? However, I think this may be bad timing with a the Linus related fiasco going around

Catalyst switches typically do not have a feature to automatically shut down based on high load. They are enterprise-grade equipment capable of managing high network traffic levels effectively. We hope this info helps!

These bad boys can do just fine even with all ports saturated and will continue to push packets regardless of situations (maybe except from an ASIC error) just like any other serious enterprise gear so there's no need to ever shut down due to high loads.

@@Fadakartel LTT was called out for rushing their videos and being inaccurate while being hypocritical about their handling of the criticism. There was also the review of the Billet Labs block where they basically crapped on computer enthusiasts and of course the company who made the block and then they auctioned off the prototype after promising the company they would return it. There is currently a video addressing what happened.
