This is your first mixing console??? Damn you went all out. Very Nice.
My man you gonna love that Wing!! I mix in this console at least twice a week and it’s a mother!!!!! Sound wise and custom layouts!!! It’s right!!! So much head room! Plus the dynamic processors like the compressors and channel strips are crazy! The verbs and delays smoking!!! Great purchase, don’t let nobody tell you different! I do sound for a living and she a monster bro!!!!!!!
I have owned the Wing for 3 years in my recording studio. You’re going to love it!

Congrats on your first mixer.. Whole new world, and once you understand the mixer...you'll love it.
Man for your 1st mixer you said skip all the small sh** it's go big or don't go at all. You went straight for the apex predator of mixers. Color me impressed. 🎊🎉🥂

Congratulations Bruh! ! ! Keep on Being Creative Without Rules or Limitations 🤜🎹🤛
Congratulations and good luck!
Congratulations Brodie! I’ll tell you there’s nothing like mixing outside of the box. Moving knobs and faders hits different. Enjoy.

Congratulations, brother! Enjoy. 🎉
Good for you! Keep it up! Continuity is king!

Nice job, Milly! But now I have console envy!!
Nice, have fun!
This is dope.. if I had room I'd definitely do something like this
Nice🇯🇲🇯🇲
tolles videogram, danke!
I'd pay top dollar for a proper studio version. It's so close to a holy grail studio digital mixer.
That looks insane
bro thats soo nice im happy 4 u, time to make hits!!!
Damn! That thing is a beautiful sight!
“This is better than all the other mixers I was looking at” (No actual audio put through the unit) Behringer motorized faders make me worried. I prefer the rackmount mixers with no physical hardware. No pots to get dirty no fader motors to fail no taking a giant board apart. You can still control the mixer using a cheap Mackie controller or fader port.
Congrats on your new journey with the Behringer Wing! Its not a walk in the park, you can't take it out of the box and just start with it unless you ve done some major research. I look forward to watching more of your walk with your new equipment.
WOW! If I were to get a mixer that Mammoth, it would have to be analong..at least I'd get some warmth out of it..
Nice😊. I was thinking of getting that one, but I’m an avid pro tools user so I got the c24 instead. Definitely dope thou. Be sure to put a AirTag inside it in case It comes up missing, you’ll know where it is👍🏽💪🏽.

It sounds like you are in for a really fun and exciting learning process. It's very impressive, to say the least. How do the sliders feel? Sturdy or weak? Do the knobs feel already and are the buttons clickity-clackity, or smooth to press? You know what I mean.
How do you hook it up though ?
hair goals!
Congrats
AES/EBU is Digital I/O... Congratulations...🥳🤩🥳
Excellent job looking forward to more info about where do you purchase it
Nice!
Advice: Upgrade power strip… 🤙🏽💚
i need one of those
Sheeesh bruh 👀🔥
VERY NICE BROTHER
1:33 Item too heavy? Flip the open box upside down and lift the 1 pound box 📦 from the Two Hundred pound item.😅 1:33 It’s called Experience vs. Youth 💊
looks like a large Roland MC-909 groovebox
That’s one dope piece of equipment you got there brotha! It sucks that it doesn’t have any panning knobs like the model 12. So I’m assuming it only does auto panning right like a daw? I have a tascam model 12 that has panning knobs.
@millyhunter
23 күн бұрын
So I didn't even think about panning.. I will look into that. However when not in DAW mode the Wing comes with its own panning parameters.

@@millyhunter Gotcha! That’s the one and only thing I don’t like about these new mixers. They lack of knobs for individual channels like a traditional mixing console, even down to the Roland TR drum machines, synths, turntables and samplers. Everything now is digital with cheap rubber buttons or has a touchscreen interface. Auto panning can be a pain in the ass to create. But, I’m old school 😂. I damn near jump threw the ceiling when the Tascam Model 24 came out. Other than that, it looks like a cool and less complex peace of equipment. Looking forward to more videos soon! 😉Keep doing your thing brotha!
First mixer? Feels like a bit too much. Seeing prices at $4k. That’s like learning how to drive in a Formula1.
I have the x18 and now I’m mad I want something bigger like that I wonder how it’s preamps sound my x18 gives me way more control then mixing in the box on protools or logic and ableton do to me it’s crazy how much different it looks than the air x app it looks way cooler 😂

Midas pres, so it should sound decent. A sound company where I live has one which they use as the monitor mixer. They use Midas and Allen & Heath out front.
those pres are really not bad at all.
Not the newest but still better than the 01. Namastè.
Did you buy this for a home studio?
Enjoy
Enjoy your time!
Make sure you run the touchscreen test and leave it running overnight before you take it out on the road.
as far as studio usefulness you could have gotten most of the features you'd need and saved a F ton of $$$. But that is a nice looking mixer, Now for the cabling
You launching a space ship?
we are gonna need a bigger table
My fist mixer in 1995 yamaha pm 4000 58 channel took 4 guy to lift was heavy sore back
Aes/ebu is simply said: another design of digital signal path. Important notes are: designed for 48khz, 16-20-24 bits. Also handy to know: it looks like its just xlr, but aes/ebu needs bnc wiring or 110ohms cable (xlr is usually 75ohms). Look for dmx cables with 3 pins instead and avoid as much connectors since they f with your ohms. Shielding is also important for this type of cable. I dont see it used much in studio environments but I still see it in Live business. Some think it sounds better, i just hate to run extra wires if ethernet is much easier and accesable/multifunctional. I wouldn’t dig too deep in it since the Wing has a lot of more cool options. Rlly a cool table for not a lot of money. If people say it’s shit, you should reflect on your own creativity. Tips I have out of my own experience with behringer tables: -stagebox adds a lot of more inputs, you can even have 2 of 16in so you have Stage Right and Stage left. -keep your software up to date, behringers dont like sudden shutoffs so turn it off on the proper way and consider a backup battery in live situations (they can freeze) -the faders break more often on the wing then on x32 -you can expand in the future with behringers personal mixers. Handy if you work with bands or there is no monitor tech around -the compressor meters are not what you’re used to on like a daw or analog. Imo live table comp are pretty agressive, esp on limiting modes -Dive into personal mixer app for phones and ipad mixer view. Gives you a lot of freedom and my live clients love to do their own inear mixes with help where needed

@@millyhunter very interesting looking fwd to more vids and would be dope to see you do shows I engineer and would love to get into shows myself
nice reveal but the b/g music levels were swamping you!
I gave up on Behringer, they’re still selling their XR mixers and won’t even update the app so it can work on iPads or Android. They shouldn’t even be allowed to continue to sell products that won’t work with up to date devices. Needs to be regulations against it.
Don't go broke over gear my youngster, I've been there and it's not a very good plan. I hope you have a very steady (paying)job. Nice video though, keep it up, make some $$$
Open both sides of box then just lift it off.
Behringer is best.

Behringer has never let me down. They do build quality gear in my opinion. They are pros at what they do and their gear is solid.

Why use this when i can just use my mac

Good question, you don't need a mixing console or any other equipment. However, depending on what you're trying to do it is useful and comes in handy. I just released a video on this ;)

@@millyhunter It's more fun this way, having physical equipment, plus it expands your options.
I own a modas m32 a x32 rack a few apollos as interface and i have to say. The wing might get flack because of the brand but its all genuine midas parts no designed nonses. Its a very powerful console and is super flexible. You will want to get a dante card if you want to get into crazy routing options or get a stagebox in the future to expand its power.
The Foam Packing is about the only best thing to come out of behringer.
You will never use that in your studio it’s for a stage brotha
@gbengaolajide9378

It can be used in the studio. I have an Midas M32 for my Live Room patched into an Antelope Goliath HD Gen 3 via Optical Madi. I also use it as a DAW controller, the Wing can also be used in this scenario or even used outrightly as the recording interface via USB or Dante to the Mac/PC

What a load of digital, built to break, trash. You could have brought something from SSL that'll appreciate in price for life or an analog synth or something.
