Plus the dynamic processors like the compressors and channel strips are crazy! The verbs and delays smoking!!! Great purchase, don’t let nobody tell you different! I do sound for a living and she a monster bro!!!!!!!

“This is better than all the other mixers I was looking at” (No actual audio put through the unit) Behringer motorized faders make me worried. I prefer the rackmount mixers with no physical hardware. No pots to get dirty no fader motors to fail no taking a giant board apart. You can still control the mixer using a cheap Mackie controller or fader port.

That’s one dope piece of equipment you got there brotha! It sucks that it doesn’t have any panning knobs like the model 12. So I’m assuming it only does auto panning right like a daw? I have a tascam model 12 that has panning knobs.

  • @millyhunter

@@millyhunter Gotcha! That’s the one and only thing I don’t like about these new mixers. They lack of knobs for individual channels like a traditional mixing console, even down to the Roland TR drum machines, synths, turntables and samplers. Everything now is digital with cheap rubber buttons or has a touchscreen interface. Auto panning can be a pain in the ass to create. But, I’m old school 😂. I damn near jump threw the ceiling when the Tascam Model 24 came out. Other than that, it looks like a cool and less complex peace of equipment. Looking forward to more videos soon! 😉Keep doing your thing brotha!

Aes/ebu is simply said: another design of digital signal path. Important notes are: designed for 48khz, 16-20-24 bits. Also handy to know: it looks like its just xlr, but aes/ebu needs bnc wiring or 110ohms cable (xlr is usually 75ohms). Look for dmx cables with 3 pins instead and avoid as much connectors since they f with your ohms. Shielding is also important for this type of cable. I dont see it used much in studio environments but I still see it in Live business. Some think it sounds better, i just hate to run extra wires if ethernet is much easier and accesable/multifunctional. I wouldn’t dig too deep in it since the Wing has a lot of more cool options. Rlly a cool table for not a lot of money. If people say it’s shit, you should reflect on your own creativity. Tips I have out of my own experience with behringer tables: -stagebox adds a lot of more inputs, you can even have 2 of 16in so you have Stage Right and Stage left. -keep your software up to date, behringers dont like sudden shutoffs so turn it off on the proper way and consider a backup battery in live situations (they can freeze) -the faders break more often on the wing then on x32 -you can expand in the future with behringers personal mixers. Handy if you work with bands or there is no monitor tech around -the compressor meters are not what you’re used to on like a daw or analog. Imo live table comp are pretty agressive, esp on limiting modes -Dive into personal mixer app for phones and ipad mixer view. Gives you a lot of freedom and my live clients love to do their own inear mixes with help where needed

Its a very powerful console and is super flexible. You will want to get a dante card if you want to get into crazy routing options or get a stagebox in the future to expand its power.
