I just put 30 eggs from kcquailfarms in the incubator. I was wondering what your hatch rate was?

About 50 percent. That's unusually low though for high quality hatching eggs.

Where did you buy the eggs? did you get them alive? were they fertile

Do you have problems with snakes and if you do what do you do to keep them away from your quail

I haven't had any problems with snakes, but I don't have species in my area that are egg eaters. It all depends on your setup too.

I had a huge black snake that got into my brooder and got ahold of 10 chicks before we found him 😔

That's not a bad price. Just make sure it's a reputable breeder or you'll be disappointed.

@@UrbanAviary he/she had good ratings on ebay so I think it will be alright but before I order the eggs in gonna try to hatch eggs from the supermarket to see if they would hatch
