Can’t wait to see the casting video… I Think i will order one very soon… My original zillion spool seems to have a😮 unbalance… shaking a little when freespooling 😬

I put in the spool from the Silverfox (I'm surprised no one mentions it the reel, it's a great PE version of zillion, and cast light stuff.) and from steez and morethan and there was no shaking. I always adjust the Zero adjuster a bit - do you think they are adjusted exactly from the factory? Now I just ordered the Roro 😁

@@rawrfishing yes very tight 😊and it casts very smooth and long, but with brakes at 16-18 Maby i order the normal (thicken) version of the spool for a little more controll

Do 1/2oz and less casting test 1-1.2 pe. Would like to see

I think this reel will likely be around 1 gou and lure ranges between 1/4th to 1/2 oz indeed. So likely a ML and M rod

That looks like a new precision scale. Would be a shame to not test BFS lures with a 6g spool. If the standard size reel doesn't feel good on a BFS rod let us know. You can get 2 videos out it, a BFS and long cast video. My KK Sharky 3 marketed as a long cast reel has the lightest non BFS spool. I put 20 lb braid on it so I can cast lures around 1/4 oz.

Yep, I got that one for icast cuz It got a cover. I was weighing spools and lures.. Ppl thought I was a drug dealer haha Sure I will bfs a bit, but I don't think I will swap bearings. A general idea should suffice

definitely more curious to see how it cast/pitch normal bass lures.

I guess we can try that, but this reel isn't for the super heavy cover as the drag is lower than your typical flipping and pitching reel.

I definetly want to see this reel casting small lures. I mean, 6.87g is lighter than CQ23's stock spool, it should work. But changing the spool in order to convert a reel into a BFS one is not always enought. You have to also adjust the braking system. Would be nice if we get a video with BFS :D thanks!

Well... First off.. The Roro spool have ceramic hybrid micro out of the box and the stock reel got standard size something... I just wanna match the bearing sizes so that the bearings can work together instead of one becoming the other bottle neck

Just wondering do you know if RoRo makes a LC spool for the Zephyr? Also for someone getting into BFS would you say that 4lb mono would be ok to start with?

No one make stuff for KK. But it be cool to see one. The body and reel seems perfect for a slightly deeper spool!

@@rawrfishing, 4lb keeps getting outside the spool and into the reel causing me to have to remove the spool and unwind line. I have had great luck with KK products but am frustrated with the Zephyr because of this issue. Also I have the tension knob tightened to the max to stop backlashes. Have you had these issues. I appreciate your videos.

Could be over spooled. But if u fishing UL on that reel, braid is the way to go. Anything below 2.25 g, braid is the only way to go

I'm interested in getting one. Do you go with thicken or standard? Is there a noticeable difference in casting ability and distance between the two?

I got the standard one. I will cast this soon as I can. Right now I'm just waiting for time. Busy as family vacay is coming soon before school starts. I would say the thicker one will have more braking applied, so potentially less distance. But I wont know until I cast at least this one.
