I bought this kit, I’m gonna make it into the van from outer banks. And the silver parts you wasn’t sure on, I think they go under the seats. Sorry I wrote this before watching the end lol 😆

I just got this kit, and I’m very impressed being it’s a snap version! I’m not crazy about the plastic hinges…..I might replace those with brass ones. As far as bleed through with the orange plastic, we have a product here in the states called BIN Zinsser. It’s like a shellac, but you put it on after a light coat of primer, then primer again, then your color costs. No bleed through whatsoever, and I highly recommend it for those that have an issue with that. Thanks a lot for the excellent review! 👍🏾

hi, do you use bulls eye 1-2-3 primer from zinsser?? it's low odor acrylic type primer, but i don't know how to dilute(or with what) for paint our models, of course. i try with mixtures of alcohol, water, ipa, windex, etc. some times looks fantastic, other times.....not. sorry for crappy english!!!

@@zetabola1 No, I’ve not tried that kind. You might want to try mixing in denatured alcohol as that is good for water based acrylic type paints. For primers, I’ll use Duplicolor or if I can still find it……Plastikote Gray. 👌🏾

@@plastiksurgeon9129 well, yes, I use an automotive primer from a local brand, only in the parts that I'm going to paint with automotive paints and 2k clear. but, in the rest of the parts, i need to use some primer whitout odor, ammo one shot for example. here, ammo products(or any hobbie model products) are f*cking expensive, so always need to find other solutions. thank you for your response

Nicely done with the unveiling of this kit. As for your mistake on the seat frames. Yeah, you should have seen that as you were looking through the manual. But hey, it was entertaining! You humbly went with the flow and that made a great piece of video!

Looks like a cool kit to build. The white sprue before the bumpers looks like the spare wheel cover that goes behind the two front seats. Will have to get this kit…..

Make a shorty… about an inch out the middle and glue it back together haha

Also, most every bus I've been in had a plastic backing on the rearview mirror which was the same color as the interior, not chrome.

I think those are the seat frames. I’m definitely thinking of this kit as a potential build to do with my partner’s kid.

Ive got the POP UP CAMPER VAN version of the regular revell germany kit. Its been "next" three builds in row SMH LOL.

Curious as to how hard it might be to backdate the kit to a 1969 model so I can build the bus I owned. I know I have to change the nose clip to change the turn signals and add the side reflectors, but the entire engine bay and rear lights will be the challenge.

Those parts are for the seats
