Have them on my V10. With Hope 203 Vented disks. They are awesome. The silky smooth power, modulation & stopping power. Went for a ride & pulled brakes on like I normally do. And almost went OTB. Only had to touch them.

I just received the new Tech 4 E4’s and those are at least as powerful as my Magura MT7’s. So anyone with questions if these V4 will be powerful, they certainly will be!

@Reuben van den Dool How is the lever length working out? Compared to the tech 3 lever it looks like it would push the clamp out too far and make integrated shifter mounting awkward? Are you getting any pad taper? The Tech 3 E4 has equal piston sizes and it ends up tapering the pad a lot, looks like the E4 could resolve that issue. How about sticky pistons? I usually have to work the pistons in and out 1-2 times a season to keep the Tech 3s running smooth and to prevent the pads from rubbing slightly on the rotors. I've got 5 years on my current set of Hopes though and they are still pretty great.

Sorry I didn’t see this earlier! The lever length is no dramas for me. I read somewhere it’s only a couple mm longer than the tech 3s, it just looks longer cos it’s straighter. I don’t think you’d have any issues, especially if you like intergrated shifting that doesn’t get too close to your knuckles. I’m on my second set of brake pads and no pad taper at all. All pistons are ridiculously free moving. The pads wear out consistent and parallel to each other. No sticky pistons, all have been very free moving and easy to push back in the caliper when bleeding or putting new pads in👌 hope that helps.

Saints and Hope are so totaly diffrent i can't compare. When i went from Sram Code callipers ( the old ones) with guide rsc levers to Hope i was not happy for the first few days. I think u need to see guide and saints like they have power steering in your car. The levers feel is light and packs alot of punch but not so much modulation. Where hope the harder u pull the harder they brake. It realy is something i need to get used to. Now riding hope for 5 years i don't want anything else though, and got the new ones comming and looking to see how the lever takes less efford to pull.

It’s definitely more powerful with the green brake pads. Leaver feel is much nicer and smoother and stronger, and that’s coming from a guy who loved the shimano lever feel. Need to bleed the front soon though, but I think that’s just a new brake thing

I rode Zee brakes a few weeks in >10 different bikeparks. I really liked them and they worked great. Then I bought Hope Tech3 V4 brakes and I don´t want Zee brakes any more. Zee is best bang for the buck. Hope is best quality, best feel and best looks. If you love your bike and you have the money => go for HOPE BRAKES !

Far too much messing about to keep hope tech3 on top performance. Never had a brake I’ve had to fully rebuilt with new seals so many times, on my own brakes or customers bikes in work. Magura mt7 for virtually zero maintenance, and no nasty dot fluid.

So I have been running the Tech 3 V4s since 2015 and now the Tech 4 V4s and trust me when I tell you that you Really NEED to be running the V4 twin finned and Vented rotors with those brakes. The pistons come out way too far with single rotors and the lever feel isn't nearly as good. Trust me. Cheers.
