Thanks buddy . I was a meat cutter from 1973 until I got to old to cut it and retired. I have a love for knives.

The knife is a Victorinox Ranger79 Grip, the Ranger78 Grip comes with a Philips, but you can use the small flathead on the can opener too, at least after grinding a bit off from the spine. The corkscrew is very convenient to untie compressed knots or store a "Fire-Ant" tiny ferrorod and "Helix"-tinder from Victorinox or TortoiseGear. Tortoise Gear even offer a larger ferrorod ("Firefly") as a replacement for the toothpick, allowing the corkscrew to store two "Helix"-tinders. Either way it makes the knife a survival-kit of its own. Good choice.

It's always fun to open up a box. That Victorinox knife is great! Didn't know they made them like that. I have a Champion that even has a magnifying glass built in. Some other versions had a ballpoint pen.

Yes Victorinox makes some really nice high quality knives. I was a meat cutter (Butcher) in my younger days, and we mostly used Vctorinox knives . They really held up well under some hard use conditions. 👍👍
