I have two of these old beauties Remington 1100's both 12ga. one is my late dad's with the modified choke barrel and mine has the skeet barrel both can shoot 11 shots for I added a Carlson's extension tube on both so talk about firepower I've got it !!! Whether it's birdshot or buckshot they handle it just fine !!!

@JBDRLSOARK It's been in the low 90s all week here. Only 82 today. My central air conditioner went out Thursday. I had a repairman come Friday morning. He had to order parts which should come in Tuesday or Wednesday hopefully.

@@BenSmith-gv6hb actually you don’t have to remove the rail. It has a grove in the rail that lines up with the front sight and acts like a rear sight.

Nothing beats leather. I like my tactical stuff don't get me wrong, but I sometimes carry my smith and Wesson highway patrolman, and you bet it's in a leather holster

I've had a few over the years and they've all been very accurate. Maybe i just had a better rest to shoot from and also found a williams peep sight and a higher front sight helped a lot with accuracy. These are very common rifles here in Canada.

American ingenuity at its best, good job! Seems like all the 552’s I see are missing the deflector. I bought mine several years ago and sure enough, it was missing. I think I picked mine up from Numeric. Nowadays parts. For these older .22 rifles are getting scarce and hard to find. I’ve been looking for an old style feed throat for a Glenfield model 75 I’m trying to rescue, those are going for $80 bucks or more on eBay when they are available. I guess the JB Weld I used will have to do for now! Enjoy your videos

Aguilia is now making ammo in Texas from what I heard. I like their ammunition. Always worked good for me. The Colebri is a great garden type round for pests.

Hi JB, Aguila .22ammo is plentiful here in Kentucky. I shoot the standard velocity in my older .22 with very few duds. I like it for rack grade ammo. Enjoy watching your videos

You are right I didn’t even think about this . The standard velocity CCI has 1070 fps on their box. I guess Aguila just screwed up or maybe they figured close enough. Who knows… lol 👍

There's no standard for "standard velocity". These will still be subsonic for the majority of people but just barely. At my elevation a few in a box stray over the speed of sound but most are subsonic

Their packaging always kills me. "Super Extra" (standard velocity) 🤔. I need to pick some of this up...I have a few old High Standard pistols I don't want to beat up with the fast stuff.
