Lucky bastard! I bought two. One for me and one for my 9 y/o niece who loves retro gaming. I hope she gets a glowing one. Won't know till Christmas but mine was white 😒

@@blackmormon3555 I thought I was going to get the white one because most of the time I have bad luck.... I think my jaw would of dropped to the floor I was so shocked. I'm planning on getting the Mega Man 2 cart soon..

Coincidentally, my two favorite games in the franchise are the ones released in this special edition, because they are the best.

I doubt I'll be able to pick one up, but I'm so glad they are doing stuff like this. It's so awesome.

I still have Mega Man X for snes and the original snes. Nostalgia at its finest...

Arturo Cossyleon No worries brother lol. What I meant was that I still have the original Super Nintendo(snes) and the original Mega man X that came out for that system. But since you mentioned the nes I still have that original system as well.

The NES is the original Nintendo and the snes is the original Super Nintendo that came out afterwards.

I remember both of these consoles & both of these games. Man, this does make me feel old!!

You can look but you can't touch they will more than likely never get opened by most and be more valuable than the originals sooner rather than later. Retro gaming is just as much about having a valuable collection now as well as experiencing the games.

25th Anniversary Edition of Mega Man X (1993-2018)

The boxes look so cool! And also the print quality it's so pristine and unique!, not bad for a 100 bucks, considering the price of the NES and snes games back in the days (yup, they were so expensive brand new at EB games, toys r us , etc) kudos for capcom!

To see stuff like this brand new and back on the market is nothing less but awesome ...I just really hope there won't be a stop here ...this would be a dream come true ..and let me say this again in detail ..this would be a vivid full color dream lol... if we can walk in regular stores and see more titles of new NES & SNES cartridges of our favorite games on the shelves again..

Best buy is currently selling these for $85. Wow 3 years later......... I can't believe they haven't been ALL soldout by now. Yikes.

I got mymega man x some years back used in a game shop that sold retro games (I’ve played it and yes it’s fully functional even if I didn’t get passed the spider on it) and I’ve played the maverick hunter version on the playstation handheld (100% beaten) and I would say if I had the money to spare I would definitely try to pick up one of those just to be a trophy piece for my game collection

The MegaMan games from Iam8Bit didn't have a warning about catching fire. It was just with the Street Fighter 2

It would have been nice if the cart label was two covers In one. Tilt the cart and get the famicom image of the cart.

When i was younger(snes days) I had a dream that i was walking down the street and found a shopping cart with a snes in it and full of snes games! Haha best dream ever .. I was so bummed when i woke up

Collectors are a crazy bunch. $100 for a reproduction cartridge, albeit a nicely packaged one, is simply outrageous imo. But hey, whatever floats your boat :)

The gameplay format hasn't changed up to Mega Man 11. Fight eight mavericks to get their weapons then fight Dr. Wily's creations in 2D platformer-style. What I want in next Mega Man game is that each Maverick has a "dungeon" you have to pass through and explore, complete with some puzzle elements. You only get special weapons and/or armor upgrades for having Roll combine key parts you find in the fields or dungeons, and you only get the dungeons' heart tanks for defeating their respective Mavericks. Kinda like Zelda, right?

I'd say Castlevania 3 has the best NES soundtrack, especially the VRC6 version. MM2 is definitely way near the top, though. Also Little Nemo.

They should do This at big scale...

I'm a big retro fan, but I don't like this at all. Why do I not like this? Because it does not offer anything new. Someone took a rom off the internet and burned the game onto a cart. There were no new games being created in the process. What is the point in buying the same product over and over again? How about coding a new NES or SNES game?

Not to be intentionally rude, but FML, why do people have to check a calculator for extremely basic math? Doubling a simple number like 8500 shouldn't need to be verified with a calculator. If someone had asked 7 year old me what 8500 x2 it would have taken no effort to come to the right answer, IN MY HEAD.....bleh.
