Unboxing Firman 2000/1600 Watt Inverter Portable Generator. Firman Model W01682

We will be using this little inverter generator for some upcoming projects. It should work great to run some smaller tools instead of taking our biger and much heavier generators into the woods.

Of all the reviews that I watch about this generator I must say your video just explains all I need to know about this unit. Thank you.

Didn't start right away because the choke was still out, usually 1 or 2 pulls with the choke out, then push it in and 1 more pull usually starts it right up.

Always start with the choke on, it's a carburetor engine without a primer

Have the eco mode off when staring. If it is on it will be trying to start and idle down at the same time.

Have you tried to use propane instead of gas by getting a conversion kit?

Maybe we’ll get a chance to see if it can run more than one tool at a time?!??😉😁👊🏻

I would not say that this model is junk because the air intake is on the bottom. Yes it is a poor design but it is just a matter of not putting it the dirt. Runs great. They do say run it for 20-25 hours to break it in. Then change the oil before you put it away. I bought it to have power in the house for the fridge and some of the electronics and it seems to do a great job

@@SS-pi2yi To be honest, It went on sale at Costco and they would not give give me the difference so I sent it back. By the time I went to reorder it was not on sale anymore. So basically I ran it for 24 hours to break it in on my deck and that was about all. Fortunately I have not had a need for it since but every time they go on sale again I think about it.

That model is junk. The air intake is on the bottom of the machine where it can pick up dirt and sand can bypass the foam filter though the crappy air intake box . In the bottom.
