Looks interesting but what does it actually do? Apart from being able to buy different kits to make different versions of it. It's not actually autonomous is it? You have to control everything yeah? So it's kinda like... a modular remote control car?

It's really cool but it's a toy. It would be cool if they could link it up to some of the more advanced AI systems that the general public has available. Something like replika crossed with Google Assistant.

Last time I heard he can’t do anything like that. It’s basically a fantastic hardware base with preprogrammed „behavior“ and animations but no meaningful functions. I hope it may one day have some autonomous behavior but currently it doesn’t seem to be that way as far as I was told

Honestly tho, I don't think this is just a plastic robot kids toy.. I just got the cheapest one two months ago and really learned some basic coding logic while playing with it, I'm sure some other people would learn a lot more cuz I'm also playing other games lol.. But yea I think it can def be viewed as a future investment, especially for kids

@@cher1382 1. Buy your kids a PC for $400 2. Use the left over money to teach them how to code via an online class / skillshare. Better value, and your kids can actually use it for something aside from playing legos with a glorified pvc pipe.
