every robot needs a cute lil expresive eye or face somehting simple like this to avoid the uncanny valley effect and help people bond with it, also i think we should add that feature to things like roombas

If you had Teddie Ruxpin then you had access to some pretty cool toys similar to this. Erector Sets, Capsela, Big Trak... Not nearly as advanced as something like this, but better than Teddie Ruxpin. Hell, 2-XL was better than Teddie Ruxpin, just not as animated.

@@justme002 I had a 2xl with an 8trac player. Also a Rob robot and power glove. Also a toy video camera that shot video on Cassette. It was a fun time, but things didn't work as seamless as today's gadgets. It's fun to see what kids get access to and what it will look like in 30 years.

@@SuperNicktendo 2XL with the 8-track was one of my favorite things in the world as a kid. I wasn't lucky enough to get Rob and a Power Glove, but I did have access to tons of home computers to make up for it.

this gives me flashbacks to when my friend told me she had a robot butler lol i was expecting a real life robot to assist us, but it was this little cleaning robot that held a little dust pan and broom that would vacuum up crumbs

This thing is too cute, I feel like if it were to break I would feel like I lost a pet or something.

We're living in the age that my parents knew this technology only to be sci-fi. And it's super cool, but it also feels... expected? As someone who has grown up with the internet, ipod touches and a fair amount of automated devices everywhere it doesn't feel *as* surprising to have this kind of technology arriving now. It's still a little bit "woah, is this really happening?" with a mix of "finally, this is happening!" But holy heck is it cool and I want one!

Feed it an idea and then tell it to create the opposite to that concept a Negative one input if you will. Her name is Loab, and she is beautiful.

I'm so glad you got out of your cursed castle to do a video on this amazing bot! I just can't help but imagine the dystopian military application this has. Let's hope clicbot is for good & not for evil.

This thing is actually really freaking cool! It's more than just robotics, it's animated with all sorts of personality and actually seems to respond to you! I'm sure with time it'll feel more repetitive, but with the community support behind it, it also seems like there's always gonna be new stuff to do with it! Of course, it's a bit too expensive for most people, I imagine, but still it might be a really fun investment for a family.

That thing has more personality to it than most people I know. oO

I think it would be cool if they did a collab with Disney and make a ClicBot that looks like the Pixar lamp.

When I was a kid my mom bought me a Rob the robot, like the second version and one day I decided to take it apart. Man I got in so much trouble for that 😭. Lol can't blame my mom though, thing was expensive

The Robot reminds me of Wall-E I prefer robots like that not a Terminator Robot that is what we do not want.
