Unboxing Blackwing 192 - another ridiculous adventure!
I can't wait to see what's inside Blackwing Vol 192, but I'm MORE than a little scarred from the horrendous craft project included in the last box.🤞Fingers crossed this one will be CRAFT-FREE!!
The weirdest part about this unboxing wasn't the lack of craft though...it was the fact that I had JUST finished drawing John Lennon and Paul McCartney and these cool gosh-dang pencils (HONORING) these same musical geniuses were sitting on my shelf THE ENTIRE TIME I was drawing them. SO WEIRD!!

Yes! The richness of the deep blacks and value range you can achieve is fantastic. Knowing how many famous writers, musicians and artists have loved these pencils over many decades adds to their specialness.
Love the color scheme of the box too! No “ugly ass yellow!” 😂🤣😂🤣❣️

I love the funny ways you begin your videos. I think it’s one of my favorite things about you and I’m finally recovering from an art class I took at a school where I had to stand at an easel and draw a table with a vase on it. For weeks.

Ha! I went through a phase where I listened to their Love album compilation whenever I was in my art room. Did a pretty good pencil portrait of John and a silly painting of the 4 in yellow submarine. and then made that into some funny cards about how "🎶we all live in a covid quarantine🎵" I'm use the circle trick for sure, looks fun!

Whoa.... I just finished watching the 1995 Beatles Anthology docu-series (yet again) and this pops up in my feed... I've loved The Beatles since I was a kid. This is just.... TOO COOL. Paul is the love of my life (sorry, husband 🤪) Your portraits are wonderful. And yes, those Blackwings are pretty special. P.S. I have had lots of cats in my life but have never seen the broken chicken pose, LOL. Tippie is one of a kind ❤

So I just recently joined your Celtic Collective and it seems I'm a collector of all things art, but seem to be having a hard time using my art supply stash! I got the Cezanne pack from Jerry's and have so far not allowed myself to purchase the Blackwings. I've told myself I can have them as a treat after I have gone through the Maiden videos. Now I just need to get off my keester and actually do the lessons...
