Did yours came with plastic wrap over the 3x fans? Mine wasn't wrapped either and just wanna check if the new batch from G/Byte factory are like that. On mine, there is a rectangular cutout on the plastic covering the backplate (next to the GB logo) - I saw yours is same. Did you buy the card recently as in a 1-2 months ago? Out of ALL GB 4090 unboxing on YT, yours and mine are the only ones without the wrap over the fans. Greets from Aust.

It had wrap over the plastic shroud not the fans they were cut out

Mine too had no plastic wrap on fan shroud. I guess we our lucky to have the new revision from Gigabyte with the new 12vhpwr connector, shorter sense pin. Mine also has unlocked voltage so happy to have the new revision 😊

oh this one has a really neat bracket that's being mounted to the motherboard stand-offs and holds the GPU from the right side, will focus on this part in the review/build video :)

I bought a 4070 recently about the same size, and I didn't use the gpu holder, it's just mounted to the motherboard and works just fine

@@reviewchannel3038 specifically for the gigabyte pcb version, for their upper models, they skimp out on some part of the pcb near pcie which can cause microcracks due to sagging or gpu not secured in place

4070 while it could be as big, its not as heavy.... also, the PCB issue is mostly affecting these Gigabyte cards. but this bracket is a really neat addition.

Know that feeling. When i compared this 4090 and msi 3080ti.... It's just looks like a gigachad vs sad doge 😅 But being prepared Remnant 2 on all ultra with 2k destroying this card.
