I have a TRIUMPH TIGER_900_GT_PRO (MY2023 model) motorcycle. Join me in this video, as I use the TRIUMPH (TM-588 for Australia) OPTIMATE DUO2A battery-charger on the motorcycle.
I also use a MERIT/HELLA-to-SAE71 adapter-cable to connect the battery-charger to the front-auxiliary power-socket on the motorcycle.
I explain the discrepancy in the TRIUMPH TIGER900_GT_RPO Owner's Manual document, and the Service-Datasheet with respect to what voltage is considered low. Thus requiring the battery to be charged.
I explain my saga to find out what maximum charging-current is permitted for my motorcycle. And it is not straight-forward.
