I have several other videos on third-party add-on equipment which I have installed on my motorcycle. These include ANDROID-AUTO-CARPLAY; rear-mudguard; headlight-protector; axle & frame-sliders; rear 55-litre top-box; low-rider seat; aluminum radiator-guard.
I have a TRIUMPH TIGER_900_GT_PRO (year 2023) motorcycle.
To protect the fuel-tank, & engine from damage, in case the motorcycle has a fall, I bought the GIVI TN6415 engine crash-bars. I had looked at several big-brand crash-bars, & opted for GIVI because I prefer its design. All 3 mounting-points on the left, & right-hand-side crash-bars, are mounted to the motorcycle-frame, rather than solely to the aluminum engine-block.
About a week after I installed these crash-bars, and the BARKBUSTERS handguards. I accidentally dropped the motorcycle at a standstill. The crash-bars, & handguards saved the motorcycle engine & fuel tank from damage.
Join me in this video, as I carry out a step-by-step unboxing, and installation of the GIVI TN6415 to the TIGER_900_GT_PRO.

Excellent video. Very clear and precise 👍 It would be nice to see the bike with the finished crash bars in place

thanks. I tend to be a details person. Generally, info on 'how to do something', is as important as the 'what needs to be done'. At the very end of video, there are several still-photos of the crash bars as installed.

@@DIYhabitat Yes that really shows in the way you explain what you are doing and it makes for a very helpful video. The pics at the end are too close up to get a sense of how the bike looks with them on.

Great video, very helpful. Do the instructions list the torque numbers? I look at the instructions posted online, no torque settings...

thx. The GIVI instructions do not provide torque settings. Very few - if any - 3rd party crashbar manufacturers provide bike specific torque-settings owing to liability. Google search TIGER900RP service-manual, & it contains torque-settings.
