I never comment on YT videos. I stumbled on your even-order chain solve video and saw it was from several years ago. I was overjoyed to see this channel is still active. Pete, you seem like a wonderful, friendly, person. Looking forward to joining you on this venture :)

Hi Pete, Thanks a lot for the update. I had given up on it after seeing how difficult it was to turn. I do have some tough to turn LanLan cubes and didn't want another. The update helped me to decide to get it. I appreciate your responsiveness to viewers.

It is a dual of the curvy copter 3.

Just ordered one. Thanks for showing us this puzzle! I didn't know it was available until your video came up in my feed. Also bought an Andromeda puzzle too. Wow, I had no idea these were being mass produced now. It's like a wish come true.

The master face turning octahedron is also a lot of fun! And I've also been enjoying the seven layer Tower pyraminx :-)

This seems like it's a curvy copter 3, but with the actual edge piece hidden! Also, the way the cuts line up, the puzzle REALLY looks like it should do a face turn to cut the puzzle in half, like the "Skewb Diamond"

It does compare well with the Curvy Copter 3 and it jumbles. I'll be posting a follow up video.

This puzzle looks like it's almost the same as a Curvy Copter III. There's just one piece type hidden in this version and the sticker scheme is obviously different.

Thank you for making a video about this puzzle! I have one on it’s way and am excited to try it out! Edit: As to your question about small or large puzzles, these days I do like the more portable-sized puzzles just so I can always have some kind of twisty puzzle with me wherever I go, but it’s also fun to have a few big monstrosities to sink into at home on a rainy day.

You missed Jumbling turns, double jumbling and a secret extra jumbling cascade turns; that helps to mix.

It jumbles and Curvy Copter-style double jumbling works. It may be possible to split a jumbled section, but I haven't tried that yet.

Hi Pete, good to see you back! For the latest LanLan puzzles i ordered i used a really thin silicone lube spray with a volatile solvent. after applying it, every puzzle turn becomes more and more sticky until they are almost unturnable (solvant liquifiying the ABS plastic surfaces). but when the solvent is gone, the lube remains and it turns like it has been broken in really well. But I guess turning it with force shouldnt be overdone or you could damage the puzzle :) This worked extremely well for the curvy hexagram pyraminx and andromeda cube

If you do get this puzzle solved would it be possible to have a tutorial on it?

You didn't try any jumbling Pete? I assume it jumbles, since edge turning puzzles normally do.

Does lubing these make them easier to turn? Looks physically torturous to solve.

After some break-in it moves really decently. I solved mine yesterday and it gave me a lot of fun.

I had to loosen the faces a bit, but now it turns very well. I should have paused the video until it was broken in, because what I showed doesn't do it justice.
