Your channel popped up on my feed about a month ago. I've been hooked since! Love seeing the big grease chunks get dislodged.

Thanks to this channel I was able to unblock my own drain using a drain snake. Saved $300 US. Toilets wouldn’t flush and sewage was backing up into the bathtub. Told my my wife the whole house was bloody chock-a-block and I was living the absolute bloody dream. She wanted to call the plumber so I told her she was a bloody pelican for not believing in me. She wasn’t amused at any of my antics but I did get the job done!

I reckon it's something quite similar to what the house I used to live in had - the main sewerage out the back was never connected to the inside drains, so everything was draining underneath the backyard straight into the ground. But at least we knew then why the grass back there always grew so well...

@@LucienLowell I have an uncle in Queensland in a rural property whose sewerage was connected to a septic tank and then to a soakaway. It worked really well --- it did a good job of processing the waste into something safe to feed into the ground, so the bulk of the liquid was disposed of, meaning it didn't need to be pumped out so often. The only oddity was the suspiciously green rectangle of lawn where for some reason nobody wanted to sit!

Same here at my parents' house. Rain went from the gutter straight to the ground. One wet year, one of the bedrooms' wall started to get moldy. Hat to dig a 50m trench to the outside, and by then everything got hot and dry again and it was a chore. Always follow your home's building/renovations up close, even if the guys are annoyed (especially if they're annoyed).

In the plumbing business, blocked drains are considered especially heinous. The dedicated plumber who investigates these vicious clogs is part of elite group known as "Drain Cleaning AUSTRALIA". These are his stories

I have almost been considering asking if he would take me in if I worked for free 😂 not sure drain cleaning would be my thing but just being around this guy must be such a blast. And I don't think it really matters if you're a plumber or not - Bruce's fantastic mood will surely motivate you to pick up that Mr. German Jet and start blasting those bloody roots!

Well Hell´s Bell´s and G´day Bruce, from Denmark Scandinavia. You came up as a suggestion a year or so ago. Good fun and highly recommendable. You´re just the right amount of mental for my taste, and doing a great job. Keep it up buddy!

I love watching your videos!! KZread only showed me you less than a week ago, but I've been eating up all your videos. I used to be in wastewater collection, and every so often, I would be asked to be a second operator for unblocking home drains and laterals. Didn't know that I missed it until I saw those free flowing drains! No place I'd rather be!

In 2024 an elite plumbing force was sent to the outback for a drain that did not exist. This man promptly escaped the mid-day sun into the houses underground. Great quick grab of the roots while holding a camera, brilliant. Would you have used a spinner or turbo head, whatever you call them down under, to shred the root if it wouldn't break up? Made sense when you saw the roots why the grease piled up, didn't make sense a homeowner would do that kind of blockage themselves the whole pipe would have been choked. Great work!

And now I'm watching drain unclogging videos. Great.
