@ZeldaTimeline As a person who has had 20 cats in their lifetime, and paid very close attention to their moods and expressions( yes folks, cat faces have expressions which reveal how they feel about any given interaction) I can't assert unequivocally that whoever is filming is an object of hatred for Pumba for whatever reason. Me thinks there may be things going on behind the scenes regarding the "cameraman". And incidentally I really feel sorry for that orange cat, which as you can tell from its fur is a rather old cat. My only hope is that Pumba protects that old cat from unwanted attention from the younger cats, and that's why it hangs with Pumba. Everybody says Pumba 'hisses to communicate'; which is true but what they don't know is that every cat from tiny little wild singapura cats( 4 to 6 lb adults!) up to Siberian tigers(800 lbs) hiss. And they hiss when they are angry or threatened or fearful. So if the people making excuses for the hissing ever find themselves in the jungle face to face with a hissing tiger, know this. He is communicating to you, he is communicating to you that he's about to rip you to shreds.

As I suspected - everyone took Pumba’s agression wrong. There are clearly two (or more) people living in that house with Pumba. The woman in the video is like his mom, to which he has the most connection to (caracals are like dogs, they only get attached to only one person in their life). There is also a dude that films him, prob that woman’s son, whom Pumber is cautious of and distrusts. He is the author of all shorts on this channel. The cameraman further reinforces that distrust and fear in Pumba by getting on his nerves in different ways, and our favourite caracal reacts accordingly😂

@@milenakupiec1839 See, now this is actually a fair point unlike the "hissing always means angry" argument, which is just not true for a caracal. But the thing is, he's probably neutered for one reason or another, which there are many good reasons for. When they're neutered, they just don't have the same energy to exercise anymore and generally get more plump easier. They don't show everything on camera, so it's just as likely he is getting the exercise that he's willing to do as it is that he's not.

I think it's more that Pumba doesn't like a camera shoved in his face. When he doesn't see a camera, he's a sweetheart

Pumba is adorable, Caracal's live in the wild here in South Africa, they aren't allowed to be pets, I haven't seen one that's overweight like this though, needs some serious exercise, or he will develop arthritis.

Pumba must weigh over three and half stones (50lbs/22.5kg). As pretty as Pumba is, I wouldn't want my beloved companion to be overweight like that. There are reasons many I believe Pumba should have a big yard to play in. Actually, all animals should have this.

@loyalfilm Absolutely, and all cats Express hatred and fear and anger through hissing. Every cat from tiny kittens up to 900 lb Siberian tigers uses that to "communicate"; and is you and I know he's NOT communicating that he'd like to snuggle when he's pinned his ears back onto his head snarling at you. For whatever reason Pumba really hates the cameraman. I'm sure he has his reasons for hating the camera man.

He hates the cameraman and he's miserable whenever he's around. Cats don't fake hissing and snarling they're not like people. If Pumba is doing that he hates that person. Sure the cat can love the woman, but that doesn't stop it from hating the photographer probably because he's constantly in that cat's face. Someday the photographer may not have a face.
