Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in eight billion.

Amazing! Her vocals are speechless, and that's super important about her not needing any type of effect on her voice! Nobody these days can do that so "Bravo " excellent singer 💖👏🏻🤗

She was 14 years old at that time in the competition Show "You are Super" This Competition is created for disadvantaged children! Diana was stuttering because she was abused by her mother of birth and left alone at a Bus Stop in the middle of winter where she was found by her aunt! After some paperwork Diana was given to an orphanage at the age of 3. After two years a Therapist who works there adopted little Diana and gave her love and Support! She get's music lessons to overcome her stuttering and a special treatment to get rid of her psychological problems! In the meantime Diana is on the way to a global Superstar! She is classified as a "Dramatic Contralto "with polyfonic overtones! Very rare and mighty just one of a kind !!

14 years old on this video but she does not play any games, she sang this extremely hard song like it was nothing, most of today's "famous" singers should take notes, Diana should begin vocal/performance seminars she should be the one teaching and judging not the other way around. Well your next one from her should be "Wicked game" but seriously whatever you choose does not matter since all of them are masterpieces.

This is an old ritual song about an orphan bride. The girl has no parents. The river was considered the boundary between the world of the living and the dead. She goes to the river and asks for the blessing of marriage. She says that there are many people at home, but there is no father and mother. You hear Diana singing in a whisper. These are the words of the deceased mother of the bride. Then the girl is crying. In Russia, at weddings they sang sad songs to scare away evil and the marriage of a young couple was to be happy. One video of Diana's, in my sight, is a total masterpiece the like of which I don't remember ever seeing before in my long life. It's a must see for anyone that loves singing with unending emotion. The background of the song is essential to know. The title of the song is "Ornery (or "Fastidious" or "Finicky") Horses". The song has nothing to do with horses in reality - the horses are being used as a metaphor for life. "Can't help falling in love with you" interpretada pour Diana Ankudinova.

This was her 3rd performance in "You Are Super" at age 14. Her first two were done in French and English, including an amazing version of James Brown's "It's a Man's World." She was asked to sing something in Russian, and she did this. Absolutely astounding. This performance of "Rechenka" will likely be considered the most iconic and beautiful version of this song, even though she has been recorded singing it many times, including in concert earlier this year. I agree that this performance finished the contest, even though there was one more week to go. For that 4th week, Igor Krutoy, the Chief Judge in the contest that year, and also a world renowned composer and pianist, asked Diana to sing "Tomorrow Is A Lie" as he played the tune on piano. Again, she was amazing, and both appeared and sounded like someone beyond her physical age as her intensity is soul-bound. Great reaction! 👍

The river in Ancient Russia was considered the border between the world of the living and the dead. You hear an ominous whisper, it's the spirit of her late mother responding to the girl's crying. There are about 30 variants of this song, but the content of each of the variants is based on the sad appeals of the orphan bride to her deceased parents, asking them for "blessings" and help for marriage, for family, to strangers. There are other versions of this song, where the heroine appeals to her brothers and even to her parents with a call to return to earth in the form of a bird to her native home.
