@@user-dj7ef1nl4u ehh for F1 it's been all about quali for the last decade which is kinda sad so not too out of the ordinary. F2 on the other hand was an absolutely amazing race, definitely not as crazy as others all throughout, but with the smaller cars some absolutely awesome moves great strategy plays and some phenomenal ending to boot.

Watching the last 30 laps, there was consistency in the overtakes for the lead, but at the end, Pato was doing the right thing by holding back to make the pass on the last lap. However, I think Josef did something that appeared to throw Pato off and Pato's penultimate take-over did not have the usual surge so that Josef was able to gain it back within the same lap quite easily. Fascinating race.

It’s entirely believable considering we watched it. It was a hell of a pass to make on the outside going into a corner at 230-240 mph though.

Pato's pass at the start/finish line on the last lap came way too early. How many times have we heard that you don't want to lead going into the last lap except at the checker? Josef got him back going into turn three & O'Ward couldn't do an '06 Sam Hornish vs Marco down the front straight. So sad for Pato, he had the car & speed but he should have known better(?).

    1. Pato should have waited for back straight for the last pass, he did the pass too early. 2. Pato should have moved to the right a little bit earlier before turn 3, as it was already clear that JN would have tried on the outside. Anyway we talk and they drive, congrats to both! One last thought: in my opinion if Rossi stayed in front of Pato, he would have won, as he is a little bit more badass in close fight than Pato.

Find a way to watch the British coverage on Sky Sports F1. They use the American host feed but every time it goes to adverts in the US it goes to a British based commentary team instead. (They had Mark Blundell and Simona Silvstra as pundits) They showed zero adverts for the whole race.
