Ital cooked in a yabba on a wood fire is a righteous meal, very delicious, no salt and the strong natural coconut flavour, no powder mix... first time one of my rasta bredrin bubble that for me, it was served in a calabash bowl too.. true natural mystic.

I am just loving this. A taste of Africa away from the Mother Land is how I would describe Rastafarians. Eating Ital food out of calabash dish outside of a makeshift house where whatever you eat comes from land and sea. Much respect AT for highlighting my Island and all she has to offer.❤🇦🇬

In modern societies emphasis is placed on "title versus virtue", or a man with a vIlla is perceived better than a man with a "dirt house" regardless of his virtues. This is a strong statement made by the young man. . Very meaningful and true. . . very common in the Western world and I see it alot in Kenya since my stint on Kenya's KZread streets.

In Trinidad we call, it cut the freshness from the fish, when you rub the lemon on the fish we also soak the fish in the lemon and some flour in the water and that will cut out most of the fresh so the fish will not taste the freshness when you're eating the fish, some people believe when you have coins around you, you will always have money 💰,

African Tigress, I pray that you and the other people in the Carribean remain safe as Hurricane Beryl is currently churning through the Carribean as a Category 4 hurricane. A category 5 is the highest hurricane rating. May everyone in in the Carribean that are in the path of Hurricane Beryl adhere to the hurricane warnings and remain safe. Hurricane Beryl is heading toward the Yucatan Peninsula and the Gulf of Mexico. Stay safe everyone!
