Ulverston and The Laurel and Hardy Museum
I took a trip to Ulverston, birthplace of Stan Laurel, to visit the Laurel and Hardy Museum, visit Stan Laurels birthplace and generally have a look around the town. Many thanks to Mark at the Laurel and Hardy Museum for allowing me to film in your brilliant Museum. You can find details of the Museum's opening hours and current prices at www.laurel-and-hardy.co.uk or search for Laurel and Hardy Museum on Facebook. Enjoy!

Two legends forever
Great Video , Stan Laurel is my all time favourite Actor/Comic so I will definitely be planning a trip up to here once life returns to sort of normality!
Wow... The best comedy duo ever. Ulverston o the to do list.
Lovely video. Have just been to the lakes and visited Ulverstone for an afternoon. Well worth the visit to see Stan:s birthplace and the Laurel and Hardy museum. A fitting tribute to the two funniest men in the history of comedy.

thanks for a great video, you've inspired me to go. He is a real hero of mine. The first autobiography I ever read.
Recommended trip and the museum is great for meeting people who are like-minded.
Thx so much , iv always loved Stan and Ollie and had no idea there was a museum for them ,especially not in this country, I’ll definitely be taking a trip there after lockdown over , I only live in Yorkshire so not too far , thx again, great tour you gave us ☺️❤️
I live in Northern Ireland and I usually go on holidays in England visiting places that tie into my interests. I'm not a foreign holiday kind of person and I love visiting different parts of the UK especially anything to do with entertainment eg Coronation Street studio tour, and the Cornish resort of Port Isaac where Dr Martin is filmed and I felt right at home as my second name is actually Isaac(named after my Dad's uncle 😄😄) I have added the Laurel And Hardy museum to my list of places to visit when I take my next holiday in England. Hopefully my dad will be with me and I know that he will LOVE the museum because he is always telling me of how he saw Laurel And Hardy in supporting features when he went to see movies in the cinema as a young man. By the way this is an excellent video with good information for tourists like myself. It was mentioned that the Museum is good for fans and non fans . Personally while I'm not a Laurel And Hardy fanatic I think that anyone who couldn't be a fan of Stan and Ollie hasn't got a sense of humour as all I have to do is look at them and I'm in floods of tears with laughter.
Hello from a new subscriber! Just discovered your channel through Campervan Tales, and looking forward to watching your videos, The Lakes was a very special place to me and my husband. We also visited Ulverston - as huge Laurel & Hardy fans. Thanks for sharing 👍
A lovely part of the real county of Lancashire
