Wow, I didn't know Oliver Hardy was a native of Georgia. He was such a cute baby and Stan was a sweet looking little boy, love seeing those sorts of things. I have good memories of watching Babes in Toyland with my grandma at her house during Christmas break when I was around 12☺ Such a sad ending to Ollies life for a man who made so many people laugh... Cool Stan was into correspondance, the power of pen and paper😃Thanks Jordan💝🎆

When I was young, my dad took us to visit Stan Laurel at his apartment in Santa Monica. His Phone number was listed in the yellow pages and my dad just called and ask if we could visit him and he said yes. He gave me a stamp with his and Oliver Hardy's likeness on it and we all took a picture together. He was very gracious. This was right before he passed away.

This was wonderful. I read a great bio on Hardy. Was surprised at his golf prowess and trophies from his country club, that he was a very graceful dancer and that women loved to dance with him, and that he was quite a bridge player. He would deliberately lose hands to people who couldn't play but very competitive with those who were equals. Loved the movie Stan and Ollie John's. Reilly nailed Hardy . I saw it twice in the theatre.

It's great to see a person as young as Jordan be so enthusiastic about Laurel & Hardy--proof that their popularity will continue with coming generations. My absolute FAVORITE comedians bring such love and laughter. Thank you for such a fantastic video--love your channel--it's unique.

Hi Jordan, ahhh, bought a smile to my face even before I watched the vlog. What a great water tower. Those ornaments of 'Stan & Ollie' when they were women really made me laugh. During some of the dark years of the 20s, 30s, and 40s they bought laughter and happiness to so many people and still do today, amazing in itself. Great vlog Jordan.

Thank you Jordon. That brought back a lot of my childhood memories. As a child my family and I lived in a white two story home right by the train tracks. The whole house shook when it would go by. Lol I remember the murial when I lived there. Does the town still only have one red light? We use to say it was a poke and clean town. Poke your head out the car window and you were clean out of town. 😆 Again, thanks for all the memories.

When I visited this museum I asked if the Larry Harmon Company still maintained the rights to the Laurel & Hardy characters. The lady there said yes, they do and the museum was operated by Oliver's family members and volunteers. It's a shame that the rights to your own likeness can be purchased by others to profit on!

That was awesome the museum on Laurel and Hardy. They happen to one of Mary's favorite comedy teams. She has many books on the two of them. We love watching them even the silent movies. Nothing like a silent movie. They have had such great history together. It was sad when Hardy died and Laurel just did not want to go on with out him. What a wonderful friendship they had. The items in this museum were so great I am sure Mary will be watching it again and again. Thank Jordan it was so great to see all the amazing things on them

I liked L & H & The 3 Stooges also. We'll never see the likes of them again. With L & H my favourite short was the Hospital Visit. To see Hardy hanging in the air with his leg in plaster because Laurel stuffed up was hilarious. I also enjoyed their movie The Flying Deuces, just one of their best. This museum is just awesome, thx for sharing. Oliver Hardy didn't look the same when he lost weight & sad to see them older, that's life. Finally, I really enjoyed the movie made about them called Stan & Ollie. Both actors playing them did an amazing job especially Steve Coogan, he nailed Stan's mannerisms 100%.

Love this one and the one you did awhile ago on them, and it was so awesome to hear when Stan Laurel lived in Santa Monica his number was public..I remember the vlog you did on him a while back, another fantastic one, I loved too!!! I saw Stan & Laurel, the movie it was fantastic, insightful and at the same time I felt bad for them, how hard they worked and when they got older, the studio, and people kind of forgot about them, and I actually cried as the movie ended. True talents, showed true life and all that can happen when we choose the paths some of us choose to take. Exellent movie, excellent Vlog, Jordan! Ty for sharing!! Happy Road Trekkin'.
