Lmao that entire run was such a fun experience to watch

screwdriver is insane for pretty much every boss also. Makes it so you can just stay near them and unload for a bit without having to worry about health.

Yep; lots of people sleep on the Screwdriver’s utility, not realising how helpful that healing can be in tougher situations. Although I don’t mention it in the video, another reason to use it against the HiM aside from damaging its weak points is the fact that screws pierce armour, healing you for the usual amount of hp! Although it won’t deal the extra damage, it’s perfect for staying alive.

Ah, as additional information: the feedbacker requires two punches normally, whereas the knuckleblaster will always do it in one punch. Dealing damage to the tail weakpoint will also end up dislodging the spear without requiring a punch, so you've got quite a few options available to you!

The most common argument for the screwdriver that I see is "it can give you a lot of blood in a big radius" and "the screwdriver is used by people that dont like to speedrun" to that I say first of all: what about hard damage? Even if the screwdriver gives you a ton of blood the hard damage is still there and second: just because you are a "laid back player who doesnt speedrun(wich means nothing since I also dont)" doesnt make it better cuz if you are a laid back player you dont realy dodge or parry and rely on healing bit it all falls apart when you consider hard damage, third: "it can kill the HM fast", you can also just shoot a magnet in the belly and shoot like 8 sawblades the time is almost the same, and lastly: "it can prevent MF from teleporting"the only time that's an issue is in CG in rounds 40+ a.k.a. like less than 10% of the playerbase. So to summarize screwdrivers healing is pointless cuz of hard damage, every time you use it to kill something there's always a better alternative

Another thing to keep in mind is that the screwdriver pierces the HiM's armour. Although it won't do the extra damage it does on the weakpoints, it's pretty helpful if you're in a pinch!

I personally speedrun so if I’m going to kill them anyways it’s better to get full health from a rail coin or something but I can see how it’s way safer and easier to manage the room if your using a weapon that gives you an infinite health pack for like 30 seconds. It’s also really satisfying to shoot the screwdriver at someone and punch it into another guy lol. Also, anytime I do cyber grind I keep it in my inventory for when I’m really low and all the small enemies are gone. It could do with being lightly buffed by making it so sand covered enemies still drop blood from it tho.

That would be super cool, although a bit too strong (when considering the ease of being able to do so compared to other forms of increasing railgun damage). I quite like what Hakita has done with allowing you to parry it into other enemies instead though; reduce, reuse and recycle!

BRO WHAT IT PREVENTS TP? -although I still think railcoining/malicious railgun kills quicker

Yeah… but it can be useful for people who like to play the game more laid back. they’d rather take advantage of their enemies by making them give a bunch of blood for a long time rather than railcoining which only heals you to full health once. they can just keep going back to the same Cerberus and getting full health instantly. I like to speed run so I don’t see much use in it when killing the enemies is necessary anyways but it’s good to see that other players can find their own way to play the game using the screwdriver. It kinda proves how personalized the game is :D
