Ultras suck

The fans you saw are called Hooligans or Ultras. They are fanatic fans that have a big infuance in a football club. Sometimes it is fun to have them on your side but it can also be very dangerous. They are often involved in fights with the enemy team Ultras or riot police, some ultra groups are related to criminal organisations like the maffia. But most of the time its nice to have them though, they create a atmosphere in the stadium that will help the home team winning.

Are you drunk? Ultra isnt the same. Hooligans and Ultras are two different things. Ultras arent not violent in 90% of europeans countrys. connections to the mafia? LOL tell me some groups. same: 90% arent related to criminal organisation.

Germany, Poland, Russia, Italy, England, Netherlands and almost every Eastern European country have violent ultras, and i'm only naming some European country's South America for example also has violent ultras. that is is alot more then 90%. The maffia story happens mostly in Italy and Eastern Europe were they have alot of influence. Also excuse for not explaining the difference between ultras and hooligans, ultras are fanatic fans and hooligans are violent. But after all you can have your opinion and i have mine.

I live in United States but am Albanian and the United States try to make that nothing else is important besides America. Hey man if you really consider going to a soccer game and you want to be part of what you just saw I strongly recommend Greece. Most of these extreme situations you just witnessed are in Greece. If you want it a littler softer go to Germany. Its still pretty intense but super awesome. Always look after a derby

I can't say these things don't happen in the states, not for American clubs, but many of us if not immigrants are children of immigrants, so we have clubs we support back home or back wherever our parents came from, as for that, for people who did move here, they set up supporter groups, in the case of South Americans, members of Barra Bravas do set up chapters in the states and still fight with each other out here the way they would back home, some dude was recently killed in NY over football related politics that the guy that killed him couldn't leave that shit in Colombia, he had to keep fighting people living here now in New York. I'm from New York personally so yeah I support the football and support a MLS side but I didn't get into the sport because of MLS, both my parents are South American, my first loves to the sport other than always having a football at my feet as a kid was watching the Colombian National Team and my father always talking to his friends about Junior Futbol Club, his club back home. Which is not even a big club, like for the city yeah, club formed in 1924, arguably the biggest club on the coast, but unless you from the city, you probably not a fan of the club, and we are pretty hostile with our clubs back home, there's a joke that says Colombians can all get along until we mention what football clubs we support, cause it's like that. And I watch other sports, but no other sport gets me as hyped, or emotional as football, there is nothing like it, especially if you truly do love that club you support. I do not thing many other sports can compare to that, at least not in the U.S. because the U.S. fanbase is entirely different than how we are.
