Ultra Light Trout Fishing in Texas

Спорт

In this video I'm fishing for fish that I never knew I could catch in Texas. The Texas Parks and Wildlife stocks local ponds and small lakes all around the state with rainbow trout every winter. These are great places to introduce kids to fishing due to all the fish catching action.

You might check with your parks and wildlife department to make sure they don’t do it around there. It may stay too warm over there not sure.

Yes sir, still fishing the Alabama Crappie Trail. Going to Logan Martin on Saturday and fished Guntersville 2 weeks ago. Didn't catch a lot but what we caught were good sized. Finally got my boat set up the way I want it. I'm going to look at my calendar and see when I can book another trip with you. Probably this Fall since our last tournament is in June. Keep up the good videos. Glenn. @@CATCHAHAWG

When I was in Arkansas they stop allowing corn because they said it block trout digestive system! Trout bites ,velvetta cheese or trout egg bait.

a different subject, and u have been using livescope as long as anyone I know., want your opinion on something,,, ok, it seems like especially in winter, when we find inactive fish, sitting deep on timber, they dont glow very much on the livescope.,, it seems like when they are actively feeding they look brighter on the scope.., heres my theory,, being sonar pics up primarily a fishes air bladder, what im thinking is if the fish has fed recently, there wont be as much space in thier abdominal cavity, and they deflate thier air bladders as much as possible, , while they rest and digest.. do u have any thoughts on this? thanks @@CATCHAHAWG

@@randy1ization I don’t guess I’ve ever thought about that. I very seldom fish for any deeper than 20 ft and if I do they are grouped up on the bottom. I will say however black crappie can be way harder to catch than whites. I’ve fished many schools of them and maybe catch one if any.
