Ecotools is so underrated. I feel like nobody talks about them and their brushes are so good and affordable. I've never had any issues with them

Organisation queen, total goals... girl after my own heart! I'm usually a prepared packer, starting like the week before. Years of Brownie camps and pathological obsession with lists here! 💖

The binder bag is gorgeous and very cleverly made. I usually toss everything into a clear bag that I have to dig thru.

Eco Tools is a good cruelty free and vegan brand. They are sold at Target, Ulta, etc. They make different travel sets and if I am not mistaken the whole company is 100% vegan. Wet and Wild makes good brushes too as well as BH Cosmetics and Bdellium Tools.

They have a dual ended eye brush set that I love for travel.

I really like the Kat Von D setting spray. It's one of very few I've used that actually prolongs my makeup.

Loving those travel bags. Seeing this right before I go on a road trip. Perfect timing!

Awesome video Rhian ! That travel bag with the binder is brilliant! I plan my packing ahead in my brain, sometimes I will make a paper list. For makeup, I usually pack the "day of" for the daily use stuff. I pack a few days ahead of time for basic stuff like a clean razor, makeup removing wipes , and/or fancy stuff like 'special occasion highlighters' , etc. Also , I really loved the jewelry bag , that is one of the BEST made jewelry travel bags of those that I have ever seen , and I already own 2 or 3 types of those. Besides Jewelry they can be used for Electronics - chargers, cords , extra flash cards/flash drives( for moving all those photos off your phone!) , extra battery banks, extra ear buds, etc. The jewelry bag you showed- I'd do one with Jewelry , and one with Electronics mixed with my "Girl Scout Kit" . My girl scout kit is stuff like : bandaids, tiny first aid kit, eyeglass repair kit, hem tape, tiny sewing kit with buttons , and stuff like that. i know, it's just a trip but if i have room, I pack like the end of the world is coming. Crazy , I know... (also, that stick concealer from Au Naturale , you showed was really nice !)

I am absolutely a day of packer! But on the other hand I am a leave my suitcase on the floor for a week before I unpack type of girl 😹

I have always been a pack everything the night before you leave person. But I took a trip in March and packed a week early, and I was so much more relaxed.

Love the video! I start packing a week before my trip with clothes, and basic toiletries. Then on the day of, I’ll pack what ever I need that I have to use that morning(ie razor, powder foundation, sunscreen). I’m a planner, so I always go over my bags multiple times to make sure everything I need is packed(ok, so I’m OCD as well.....). I also write out my list of what I need before each trip, so I can check everything off the list.

I tend to be a day of packer, however, I always mentally walk through my trip and try to anticipate anything and everything I might need(and minimize where possible) all the while making a very detailed list. And I always make sure I give myself 2-3 hours to pack. Needless to say, everyone comes to me for the bandaids.

Thanks Emily! I'm so glad you enjoyed. I struggled to edit this over a few days with lots of weird stuff going on and just couldn't get the time down any more so figured i'd put it out as a longer video and hope people would enjoy. x

I do essential oils, HydroSols, and my makeup the day of. But I do pack clothes, shoes, other non skincare essentials a couple days before. These bags 💼 look amazing! Love the tips in this video! I’m definitely referring back to this video before my next travel!

I love you're new editing tidbits - how do you do those mini illustrations and notes on screen? They look handmade, do you use a graphic tablet?

I agree those Real Techniques mini brushes aren't very useful except the mini foundation brushes are great for applying cream face masks. I have several that have come as gifts with purchase and I never knew what to do with them until I used one to apply a mask. It worked great!

I like to pack a few days before. Where do you like to get your turtleneck tops from? Would you do a glossier review? I think you would like their boy brow gel, eco tools has great travel brushes

Love those bags! Rhian, what do you do with the your makeup that is no longer cruelty free? Do you throw it out or use it until it's gone? I've been cruelty free for almost 8 years, so I've seen a lot of brands get bought out. I'm always conflicted what to do with the products I purchased before they sold to a parent company that tests. It really depends what it is! If its something that might be coming up to the end of its shelf life i will get rid of it, some things i keep and use up or see if friends want it and some things i keep and store so i can reference them to find dupes or replacements. x

I am a week of packer. But then I go and reorganize and add things up until the night before I leave.

What happened to the mauve/frosty lilac tutorial you posted the other day? I was watching it, went to make a comment, then my phone crashed, and when it rebooted, the video wasn’t there anymore. I had some questions on the Au Natural cream eyeshadows you were using, and I’ve forgotten the names.....

Rhian HY Thank you so much for the response. Do you find the cream eyeshadows to be oily or crease a lot? I have very oily skin and eyelids, so I am a bit trepidatious. But I like the Juice Beauty shadow sticks and I like the 100% Pure shadow pots, so I am thinking I may like the Au Natural one’s too......

My work here is done.

I got that suntegrity last summer. I brought it out to use it for the first time this year a few days ago... Is it too old after a year? Because it made me get little bumps in the corner of my mouth/chin area! It's been so itchy even though I've been using that zabana healing balm overnight 😥

I too greatly prefer Brown or Brown Black , and Waterproof Mascara. So hard to find a clean, cruelty free version.

All products are vegan and from brands who don't test at the time of the video. Occasionally brands might sell to companies who test so there might be some products in older videos that are from brands that might now have parent companies x

You follow a lot statements/info with “....I believe”. Could you please be definite? Also, it makes it seem like you don’t know what you’re doing. No offence. Just throwing out some creative criticism ❤️ Lipticks, stick foundation, gels, etc still need to go in a plastic bag if you’re taking them through security.

Hi Greta, In short, my (fairly definite) response to this is: no. This is just how i speak. As an influencer we receive comments and messages like this one on the daily, which may seem harmless and constructive but ultimately mount up to critique every aspect of our being. As you can imagine that can feel a little overwhelming. If my language leads you to think i "don't know what i'm doing", i'm fine with that. Your opinion of me is just that, your opinion, it doesn't change how i see myself or the things i know of myself and if theres one thing i've learned in this job its to just be YOU because there are always going to be things that others don't like and you can't form yourself to appease those. Solid makeup i have never had to put through as liquids; just gels, creams and well... liquids, obviously.

She is English. That's how they speak. Nothing is always and never. Perhaps because it isn't. Hence "I believe". I personally like it. I consider it a sign of humbleness. She is not a "know it all" and doesn't usurp the right to be. Edit - sorry Rhian - did not notice you have responded already. :-)
