So far I’ve cut my own hair, learned to bake bread, made my own candles in old candle jars, and completely rearranged my makeup and skincare in proper drawer organizers. 🤪

Electric rollers??? Cute hair! A neighbor across the street from us thinks he has it. We have tons of groceries and have stocked up so we're not even going outside. My hubby has health issues and I have asthma so we need to be super cautious. I'm taking this time to do some acrylic painting and playing my instruments more, which is soothing to my soul. I have always felt bad that my husband insists on buying the q tip brand of cotton swabs. But I noticed the other day they are compostable. It says on the back of the package. Thank you for saying that about not going without. We can’t afford to be picky right now.

Omg I LOVE your hair like this. Beautiful as always! As for me, so far I have attempted to bleach my hair and failed miserably, it did not work! I want to cut it but I also secretly feel like challenging myself to grow it out during quarantine and then get it professionally cut after all this is over (hopefully)...man, I am learning so much about myself..

Thank you for mentioning that people should not feel guilty if they have to switch to disposable products or different brands than usual. It's aspirational to use less plastic and have handkerchiefs instead of tissues etc but it's not always going to be achievable right now ❤️

I’ve been rubbing my skin care into my hands in the evening and morning and it’s helped heal my hands from all the washing

I haven’t been anywhere in like since March 17th. Did a grocery delivery the week before last.

Might be worth while keeping a nasal moisturizing sprey with you aswell, there saying on the news here in Australia that keeping your scinesious wet and staying hydrated helps prevent the risk of catching c19 because if your sinuous is dry and cracked it's easier to contract the virus and that's why most people get sick during winter because of dryness ect Obviously feel free to research that and make your own judgements but I've been doing it and it is helping me mentally feel like I've got some control over this situation x's

You are so right nothing is really going to be the same and by the way I would think carrying a straw in a container in a plastic bag or something might be good to because if you order a drink or something sometimes they touch the straws and you don’t know where their hands has been

It’s funny that you mention how we’ll be changed afterwards.. I literally kept a bottle of hand sanitizer in both of my vehicles and a travel size in my purse and the cup holder of my husbands truck because we travel a lot and move a lot and have two kids who attract illness like none other.. I’ve always thoroughly sanitized shopping carts and their hands whenever we left a store. Made sure their clothing went straight into the laundry when coming home and they went into the bath.. and that’s just me hating getting sick over and over, because we did this past winter when we were living out of a hotel. I got some virus that may or may not had been the flu FOUR TIMES. then when we drove ten hours to my moms house we got the flu again, followed. By a cold. It was exhausting.. so I took measures to make sure we kept clean and didn’t get sick again for a long time. I forgot to restock the sanitizer in my husbands vehicle, but just happened to have a fresh bottle in mine and this was a month before COVID outbreaks started happening all over.. so to think how our lives may stay changed is almost scary to me.. It’s got me in a head space idk how I’ll recover very easily from just knowing how much anxiety I get just going to the store. I’ve noticed when I have to make a grocery run I literally get sick to my stomach. I’m paranoid I’ll have to fight my instincts to re achieve “normal”

P.S. I have a cute little silicon reusable straw that folds up in a little tin that I pack, along with a little baby milk moisturizer. I've recently been packing my Lush sleepy lotion also because I'm stressed all the time.

I bought a set of 3 pairs of reusable nitrile dipped gardening gloves because i dont like the idea of all these disposable gloves out in the world. I just wash them in the laundry at the end of the outing.
