One of the most underrated football player's ever. I'm saying football player cause he's not juat rarely talked about amongst the great linebackers but he's just plain rarely talked about period as a football player

One of the most underrated players/linebackers that I've ever seen play. Guy played every game like it was his last and was the heart and soul of the Patriots defense.
Bruschi and Ty Law were beasts on that Pats D. Much love Tedy, u was the man!

Teddy was the epitome of what you want in a football player ! Love you brother! Hall of famer in my eyes he beat a stroke to continue his career !
He was a generational talent, belichick called him the perfect player that says it all right there.

That dude was a ferocious LB!! Incredible strength and agility to fight off blockers! Hall of fame bound no question!!
As a kid I played football and guys like Tedy Bruschi and Troy Brown were really relevant and huge stars in my eyes. I'm now 28 and while these guys are absolute legends to me still, I feel like they don't get talked about enough. Maybe its because i'm not in the football scene anymore, but either way I miss these old Patriots... they meant a lot to my childhood.
He's just so underrated! One of the few guys who were so important in the early 2000's defense.

Great Player and better person. He really helped my 10 year old son through some difficult times when he suffered a stoke. No press, no handlers, just a genuine person showing genuine concern for a little boy. Class act.

That song says it all, tedy bruschi was one reason the Patriots were so successful! Full tilt! Full time! He played DE in college and was considered a "tweener" by NFL scouts. Undersized for a NFL DE but not big enough for being a middle linebacker. The man proved everybody wrong.... with his heart.

Tedy was every coaches wet dream. worked his ass off, showed up in big spots, was a great leader, and chose winning over money.

Teddy was absolutely a menace to society loved watching him growing up
Best linebacker he play the game right way he play physical tackling yet not in a dirty way he scared offense but still didn’t hurt players he played with a heart to win and most importantly to have fun as he was doing it ... I still missed watching this group of defensive players from this time
teddy bruschi size heart was showed by the boys last night that was Patriots football never give up loved seeing that number 54 jersey crush ryan and cause that game changing fumble!
So few people get drafted into the NFL.....but this powerful PLAYER returned after suffering from a stroke....I knew men who can't even play a game of golf if they have a headache....he is my number one non military hero, an inspiration of the best kind.
Belichick has shown love for only two players: Lawrence Taylor and Tedy Bruschi. When Bruschi retired, Belichick cried and called him the perfect player. He was the heart and soul of those defenses and no player exemplified the Patriot Way more than him.

Guy was a warrior. Him, mike vrabel, ty law all don't get as much hype as they should. Very fundamentally sound players. Its funny hearing him talk about the rules change that jim irsay made happen cause the colts couldn't handle the pats defense year after year lmaoooo

+Tyron Pouncey our secondary was a fucking tragedy since 2005 when Ty Law was released we drafted that injury prone piece of shit Ellis Hobbs kept Asante Samuel who was only money greedy hence the reason Bill Belichick didn't resign him back in 2014 Rodney Harrison kept getting hurt I don't know why he was signed to a 6 year deal when he only showed up for 3 & Lawyer Milloy would've done better if they had not released him

Deon Sanders, had the best response when asked why he didn't want his number retired, "because every time someone plays with that number on, they will be compared with me" or something along those lines, i thought that was a good reason not to retire ur number.
