@@vinuzo9548 I agree and disagree. 48 laws of power adresses how to handle egos and aggression while providing practical advice. While this book shows the reason why people do what they do. The other books show more practical advice, but lack the explaination of WHY; the psychology! AND a MAJOR PART about The Laws of Human Nature is about self-assesment and understanding yourself and others through a realistic lens to improve your self. Not just practical advice about how to seduce, manipulate or not offend. All his books are great though, but this is the theoretical understanding of humans as a species not just practicality. And it includes practical self-assesment steps as well.

@@sikderqais6151 How? It goes deeper in explaining the ideas of certan phenomas and give more concrete practical advice than 48. It is also more concise and comprehensive with only 18 laws. On the other side 48 laws of power is mainly practical advice. The book is more focused primarly on competition, egos and such, while the laws focus more on personal growth and understanding people around you. Would always advice to read both books, since they both touch on different topics. If you feel like 48 destroys the laws is your personal opinion, but to say it is the most watered down book is completely false.

This book teaches lot of gems, it' s a great break of structure from your "tipical" self improvement book! And one of those leasson which stuck with me the most is how in the wrong concept/ context, any of these self-improvement rules/tips could be an acctual downfall instead of a improvment, we should always remember that ego decieves us even when we had the best intentions, strategy, theory, it could be fatal. Just because reading power of now twice makes no sense intellectually definitely doesn't mean it's not s tier. It's the single most important book you can read in life. Without being able to really live in the present moment, you essentially experience life to a lesser degree. Also nearly all problems you personally have in the modern world are ego caused (you dont think so but its true), so if you read this book and learn to disable your ego when advantageous your benefit is unfathomable. You automatically become better in every single aspect of your life and also prevents to not chase what you actually don't want yourself.

@@Alex-bl8uh You are right to some degree. My point (which i did not communicate well) is that once you know to be in the moment and start meditating in every situation you dont need the book anymore. So maybe that is the Definition of an s Tier book. To me it is not as there is not much more value in it and the value Comes from practice only.

This tier list is mess up... If you really read those books you must have seen that most of them comes from the basics. So, i think something more accurate will be: S Tier (Jewels of wisdom that has endure centuries) - The art of war. Sun Tzu - Meditations. Marcus Aurelius -The Prince. Maquiavello -The republic. Plato A Tier. (Books that take the words of the classic authors to modern life and give precise advise). - How to win friends. -The 7 habits of higly effective people -Atomic Habits -48 laws of power B Tier. (Decent books with a lot of kinda-obvious content). Robert Greene (In general) C Tier (Just OK books that really dont have a strong foundation) -Rich dad poor dad (and every other inspirational but vague financial book) D Tier. (books with absolute no foundation) The Secret...
