In my humble opinion, fiction is an amazing way to imagine and create. To bring out something out of nothing. Ability to think out of the box. Not necessarily to commercialize but bring out masterpieces that can shape life for the better through the insights that are acquired, which is priceless.

I can empathize with this. And this is one quality fiction can teach. Even a dystopian society produces billionaires. Whereas thinkers gave us relief from evils like sati, apartheid, slavery, discrimination between and among humans. Fiction helps us improve original thinking, imagination and creativity which fostered the above. Money is important but not in the way this video might suggest.

I recommend people to read Philosophy. That's where all kinds of rationally objective and subjective questions arise It will develop your critical thinking in the grand scheme of things You won't need self-help books. I would also recommend fiction for the simple reason that Einstein told us that imagination is broader and more important than knowledge Knowledge comes from imagination. 💫

Well! Any idea regarding the full video of this short?

I don't think fiction is a waste of time, recently i was listening to Elon Musk biography where it was mentioned the huge impact "The hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" by Douglas Adams had on him. I think Assuming what we will get from a book or genre is underestimating the value of Knowledge.
