Ultimate Queen Celebration featuring Marc Martel in Melbourne Australia

Музыка

Sorry IN ADVANCE for the portrait mode video. It isn't my fault. This is from the live stream from the concert. It is only the first half of the concert, so sorry about that too. But it is still a good idea of this very talented cover band, and the miraculous voice of Marc Martel.

Another great performance. Can't wait to see Marc perform with Brian, Roger, and John. That would be a real ultimate Queen celebration!

@@arladicey Brian and Roger will never tour with a Freddie tribute act. Why should they?

@@paulrohtla1053 first of all, I'm not talking about the entire tribute band...which, incidentally, was organized by Roger and Brian in the first place. I'm talking specifically and only about Marc Martel. And secondly, in a sense, Brian and Roger have become their own Queen tribute band: two remaining original band members with a different lead singer, doing only Queen's already established song catalog, much of it written or co- written by their globally beloved, deceased original lead singer. So, what's the difference? Why not do one tour, even just a couple of dates, with the singer they themselves hired for the official tribute band... who happens to vocally resemble Freddie to a striking degree? Thirdly, on top of that, Marc's an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, just like Freddie was; he can actually play BoRhap himself. And again, I'm not even saying Adam Lambert has no talent. Of course he does. But to hear Marc, whom a lot of the fans just love, play and sing Queen's music with Brian and Roger... that is a dream devoutly to be wished, despite its unlikely fulfillment.

@@arladicey As far as I know Marc Martel is an independent Queen tribute and not involved with any Queen project at present. He used to be employed for at least 5 years by Queen but they've never expressed any interest in collaboration. Brian and Roger have addressed and explained their choice of the front man many times - watch any of their interviews since 2012 - Lambert is their last front man. By the way, their new tour starts next summer in the USA.

Marc is currently not touring with the official Queen tribute band, Queen Extravaganza, who are currently touring Brazil with a different singer. Marc continues to perform with The Ultimate Queen Celebration tribute band.
