LOL! I noticed the "perfectiness" too. Thanks for the video! I referred to your video because I was having a problem taking off the case, I'm still very much in "babying my phone" stage! What would you say is the safest way to open the phone? I'm afraid I'm accidentally leave a dent in the screen from anchoring my thumb on it while closing. To prevent this, I've been anchoring my thumb on the bezel of the screen... Do you think this could cause issues? Thank you for your time and wisdom, I appreciate it so much!!!

I haven't had any issues with this Nilkin case, in fact it is my favorite case for the OnePlus Open. The only small annoyance is remembering to take off the camera cover/kickstand when using the rear cameras. Other than that this case is a solid case the hinge is just as good as the first day I put it on. I think you will like this case if you link a slim profile case or if you need heavy duty protection and you don't mind a bit of bulkiness I would recommend the Poetic case for the OnePlus Open. Girl.. those cut outs are not nicely done.. 2 of the speaker cutouts partially cover the speaker. Returning mine for that reason. Such a shame. It would have been the perfect case

Yes, taking a closer look, the front cover slightly covers the last speaker holes. I didn't notice any noticable decrease in sound quality. Sorry this case didn't work out for you.
