I replaced my iPhone 15 Pro Max for the OnePlus Open and I couldn't be happier. I feel like a kid in a toy store again because it's amazing! The other foldable don't even compare.

I put the front screen down when unfolded half way and it sits open very stable, even at an angle. I've had 5 folding phones, 3 Flips and 3 like this. I have over 35 smartphones and think this is my favorite. I've had no wallpaper issues like you have. Zoom camera is awesome, photos quite good. I'm not much of a video guy, but landscape wide angle meets my needs. Only issue I have is no SD card support. Peace

What it is is, this guy's crying cuz hes a little Apple fanboy and he doesn't know how to handle a piece of tech like that , get a gripe... Most people will kill to have that phone

I've had this phone since release. I traded in my S 23 Ultra for it and so happy that I did. No problems whatsoever I Love this phone.

you can use the single outer screen when watching youtube if you make it stand. Looks like the letter "A" from the side. Stand it that way and the inner screen will close and show the video outside

@13:00 tent mode works. Open it partially how you want it propped but put the opening down. I saw someone else doing this yesterday on youtube before finally deciding to make the purchase.

Almost bought this as an upgrade from my z fold 5 but instead I went for the Vivo X Fold 3 pro and I love it

I am fortunate to have used OnePilusOpen and S24U. Both i love. I just can not stop juggling between these 2. I hate to say it man! What is your ACTUALL issue with this phone ??? I'm considering the pixel fold but im not giving up my z fold. You get the most out of samsung foldables with there software because you can make just about everything full screen without croping/zooming in. Good video though 👍🏼.

I respect his opinion. Everyone has little things that tick them off, and we can't expect to undertand. I'm also going to place a trade-in tonight from a iphone 15 pro, to this Oneplus Open. I've tried to like the 15pro so much, since launch (months), but the more I try it the more I hate it. The gestures are so clumbsy. Thr muscle memory just doesn't grow on me. But what I really dislike is the touch sensitivity issues around edges, but specially corners. I often have to tap 2 or 3 times. I trade Futures on my phone, and it has gotten me in trouble before. The ipad mini 6 has the same issue in the corners. I think is an iOS or Apple problem. I also have a S24 Ultra and S9 Tab combo, and the touch sensitivity is way better. Missed taps are non-existent. So trust me, the little things add up to the experience. We all prioritize different things, no matter how inconsecuential. So I appreciate him being honest with us, instead of just agreeing with the masses.

I have a lot of complaint too on this phone, but for you, you can do Tent mode if you want to watch videos on the outer screen and when using the L mode it workes quite well with the camera not being in th bottom. Just my tips I got with my Oneplus Open

I'm hoping a company can make a new dual-screen foldable phone like the Surface Duo 2. I prefer superior multitasking over superior entertainment on an ultra-wide single screen foldable all these companies are making these days.

Europe it costs 1600€ and there is NO trade-in options. We are the world's cashcows and the funny part is we get lesser wages than the US before and after tax... Edit: in fact it's 1800€, the 1600€ is when they do a promotion

I owned it before. The stupidest thing is you cannot have 5x5 columns. Cameras is amazing but camera bump is annoying and uncomfortable to hold the phone.

Great insight. Would love to see a follow up a few months later.

BEST Foldable out there never had any issues - its 3rd part or crap apps which people install which are not optimised for foldable phones

Wasn't it obvious? You gotta read between the lines man. The phone sends your credit card details to the CCP and mines Bitcoin for North Korea. Camera sends your nudes to Iran. Pretty big regrets. They saw his original review and then threatened him to change it to a positive review before he even got the chance to upload the original review.

Next time pls compere all the Folds, Google, Samsung, Oneplus, you will see why this particular phone is better overall, I was a loyal customer of Samsung since the Note 2, but Samsung got lazy and they don't do the changes that are need it. I like Google phone but their fold phone is not as good as the Oneplus.

@@TheTechPlayoffsyou didnt do it right. They don’t explain it well. You open them place on the ground THEN it will detect its orientation and then turn on. You can’t wait for it to turn on first.

Sit the phone down when folded halfway on the front screen and then boom.. it sits even in flex mode. Put the phone in tent mode meaning open it like a tent and sit it down that way and it will detect to the front screen.

You can't compare to Samsung you keep doing that you will always complain 2 different companies

Omg almost everything is wrong in your video, you need time and learn OnePlus open , at least I give you 1 month and every cons became amazing

This video is a waste of time.
