What do yall think about pally tanks so far? How do yall feel about seal twisting coming back? There are unfortunately some things I forgot to include in attempt of getting this video out faster than last phases - 1. Most importantly, Once again, a big shoutout to the Light Club discord for helping provide all the information I provide to you. Link to the discord in the description below 2. The BIS tier set is the DPS set. The Shield Block one is sort of a troll, you will get WAY more out of the Wailing Berserker set. 2. The new Emerald Warden Rep has gear that’s pretty much the exact same as the rank 7 gear, just SLIGHTLY worse stats. Very good gear to get and only requires friendly and honored. 3. You don’t need to be on the Wild offerings quest to loot them from the bosses. Someone just has to have the horn to summon it 4. I really didnt mention the Darkmoon cards just because of the tedious grind it is to get these, which is why I talked about mainly the other 2 BIS trinkets. 5. I used the wrong footage in regards to the Druid healer tip (our Druid healer was absent that run) but the comment still holds to be true!

Solid guide and advice! I prefer putting my Divine Shield/BoP cancel macro on my Hand of Reckoning taunt, as I lose threat immediately when bubbled/BoP'd and this let's me cancel those effects and re-acquire the target quickly. It also means I can spam DS/BoP in an emergency and not worry about canceling it. #showtooltip /shout TAUNTED: %t /startattack /cancelaura Divine Shield /cancelaura Blessing of Protection /cast Hand of Reckoning

This makes me want to try Pally tanking

The two shields from ST are on par with Defender of the Wilds; same amount of armor and block, and one also has +spell dmg on it. I wouldn't use WO on the shield unless you really need it.

I didn’t really mention the raid shields, and I push more for the roccor shield since it has strength which double dips into SP with sheathe of light.

Thank you my man! I use the default UI but I use bartender for my action bars for Weak auras I really only run raid packs and then a weak aura that tells me when Exorcism resets, lemme know if you'd want that one!

Still a good weapon if you don’t have any of what I mentioned! I just didn’t include it since it’s relatively easy to obtain focal and sanguine.

Nope. There’s no real noticeable mitigation in the prot tree.

So... how do you not run out of mana? What's that strat like?

Wym? Mana is not an issue right now. Seal of Martydoms mana regen is insane atm

.. have you healed a ret tank before? Any more than 3 mobs and their health gets chunked over and over again. Id rather a tank be a tank than be super squishy.

There’s no noticeable difference in mitigation going into the prot tree. It’s not a good thing, but it’s true. Going prot doesn’t make the healers life easier. I said this in the video for a reason. Also…. nothing really hits that hard in ST. I think the biggest amount of damage you can take is from Hakkar or having like 2 stacks of the debuff from morphaz/hazzaz We 4 healed our raid yesterday and that felt like overkill. One of our priests straight up said “I should’ve went shadow this raid huh”

@@JurdiJD The hybrid holy/prot talent tree available on WoWhead has been the best tree I've dealt with in terms of healing and stability. I'm sure going ret tank is great for bosses, but for trash or dungeons it has been hell on my mana. Although, I am a restokin druid for the most part, so that may also just be the inefficiencies of restokin in general and not talenting into improved rejuve and the other benefits that going deep resto gets you.

It's a made up word/name, unless you have some "proof", your guess is as good as anyones. Kind of like "Gif vs Jif", except for that debate one have rational arguments that shouldnt care about what the author/creator of the word thinks ^^

@@Permuh Except im not guessing. Agammagon is mentioned, through voice acting, many times throughout the game - particularly in BFA. Maraudon has long been established to be annunciated that way. It is not my responsibility to provide "proof" to the known. if you wish to discount it then the burden of proof lies with you.

Ret is a terrible spec. The slight extra dmg is not worth.

The original comment was “I do more damage than you in prot spec, what are you even doing?” I can see out of context how my comment looks douchy, but he had originally stated misinformation Also if you look at those logs i linked… I’m right with our rets without CS. I just prefer the slight extra challenge tanking provides over being another dps. Exo spam is not a hard thing to parse with And finally, I feel like we forget that the best tanks in Classic were fury prot warriors. Most bosses up until late late endgame do not require high mitigation. And with pain suppression and barkskin in the game, it further pushes that I’ll probably end up deleting the thread.

@@JurdiJD I stand by my original comment. Not once did you have one talent point into prot in any of your logs or video. You are just a ret meat shield. Show me you can dps as any sort of prot spec :D
