Hi ola great video. I would like to ask you what is going on with the Guitars A2,6C. I have ordered one from thomman 1.5 months ago and since then they've been postponing the arrival date saying that this is not their fault but your companie's. I am not trying to be rude i swear i just want to know what's going on since thomman is not replying to my mails either. If you can pls help me.

Hey I have a solar guitar going through a revv g3 pedal into a boss katana 2/12 it sounds pretty cool any tricks to make it sound even better so straight in to the front or effects loop

@@georgenaruto1 we haven't had any delivery delays at all for thomann, so they probably have had misinformation on the products for their customers regarding when the guitars are being shipped. So far no shipments from indo to EU has been delayed.

Nice! I really like the Two Notes Torpedo C.A.B over the Radar. Slightly dif price range, but also fits on the pedal board and offers some great features.

I'm sick as a dog right now with a stomach bug, and I find comfort In your videos somehow. I'm a huge fan thanks for everything brotha!

you always have such a great sound and tone.

I use an IR-stompbox, i can recommend putting delays/reverbs after the IR-loader. Also I prefer only using the IR-stompbox for loading impulse responses and disabling the digital poweramp-simulation and run a compressor after the IR-stompbox instead, ofcourse you need a good preamp or something in front of the IR loader also.

Great stuff Ola - The expression pedal with H9 is a must. More importantly it looks freekin cool. You know kinda space shuttle like. Cheers Bro . I love the 3 octave setting in H9 (expression pedal makes it wicked though).

To power the H9 you just need an inverted polarity cable, 9VDC and 500mA :)

@@ShredDanielGuitar Well no, because if they're not top mounted the inputs are on the right and the outputs are on the left. Which, ergonomically, makes because for right handed players the guitar output jack is on the right. That way you don't have to walk over your cable. But still...

Video quality improved so much and background is cool,, am I not the one who noticed that?

Funny thing about this video is that the H9 also has a tuner built into it! But it’s easy to forget about with all the cool things the H9 can do!

I currently use (connected in this sequence) an AMT reincarnator D.I. to split the signal between clean and distorted, then a TU-3 Chromatic tuner, Amt P1 preamp, NS-2 to silence the noise, then enters a Magnum 44 power amp and directly into the cabinet. I would use the incarnator on the stage in the absence of a cabinet (or space for it), directly in the audio system. Very portable and comfortable from home to the stage. In my opinion, the pedals are the future, nobody will buy more expensive old and weighty heads (perhaps only in the recording studio)

I like short, sweet, killer sounding and effective pedal board. Good stuff Ola!

Absolutely great video ! I’m an old chronically sick guy who has learned so much about gear and guitars from this channel. Do you ever run pedals with your fractal unit ? I’d love to try a Fortin Zulu with my AX8 as I find the AX8 Noise gate hard to dial in for clean and dirty tones. Any suggestions?

Impressed by the impulse loader pedal and rechargeable power supply! About positive center polarity, I think that should be the standard (it is for guitar and audio cables in general). The Arabic lemmings pedal at the end is hilarious 😂

Basically a Noise Gate - Overdrive - High Gain Pedal - Multi Effects for Modulation and Delay... Looks great for a small do it all pedalboard.

Ciao Ola! What about an implementation of the Solar's V Type catalogue? Honestly I think the V shape of your guitars is the best around...but a white 7 strings V with Floyd Rose would be the top, a real metal monster that I'd buy instantly. Thanks & greetings from Italy

Hey Ola! Greetings from Sri Lanka! Do you find the Mooer Radar does an authentic reproduction of custom IRs? I've found the IRs converted for the Kemper are not true to it as loaded in the DAW. Cheers!

The freaking Miku pedal is crazy 🤪 I like your pedal board, very compact, nice pedals for the price range. And how Zakk Wylde said one time: "guitarist needs two sounds, clean and distortions, that's it"

I like the Eventide H9, but for all the flexibility of all those algorithms and you can't have Reverb and delays at the same time? I would like more combinations of fx. My favorite overdrive is the Red Ecstacy! The Revv sounds great!

Got to try out a Revv G3 in person for the first time last week. Honestly wasn't too impressed. Sounded really boxy and compressed compared to my AMT SS11 with the same poweramp and cab.

The mids knob can make it sound boxy even at noon on some rigs and with some pickups. I have to roll it back to between 9 and 10 depending on what I'm running through it (i.e. my 8 string needs more, while my 6 needs much less). The great thing about this pedal is the eq has a wide range. The AMT does sound great though - different flavor.

I think my basic pedal setup will be: - noise gate - overdrive - high gain distortion - looper -. Thanks Ola.

To avoid tap dancing, how would you use this setup wanting a clean, rhythm, and lead tone? Also can the mooer go straight into a cab? If not what would you use?

You already installed a tuner on this board on the H9, just push both switches at he same time

Hi Ola, My question, and maybe you have answered it in a previous FAQ, do you prefer to run a distortion pedal into the input or effects loop of an amp? I have an MXR 5150 Overdrive that I love and bought after seeing your review and am thinking of purchasing a new amp with an effects loop mainly to try this setup. Is it worth it or do you recommend running this pedal into the input instead? I think this pedal would be awesome used as a preamp pedal vs an overdrive/distortion. Thanks and keep up the AWESOME work!

that miku pedal makes me laugh so much. its so expensive too lmao i can't imagine it being used in a serious setting XD

What I put together so far, for the Noise Gate, Rowin Noise Gate (Rebranded Mooer Noise Killer). For the OD & Distortion pedals, combined the Overdrive, Distortion, Metal & Redline into one pedal. That's a VHT Redline V-Four preamp pedal from the preamp of their Redline Combo/Head amp in pedal format. The VHT pedal has 4 modes OD & Distortion are separate modes, they combine the 2 modes for the Metal mode and have a Redline mode for the Djent (even higher gain Metal). I have a Behringer V-Amp 3 which has the effects of the Eventide H9 and the cab simulations of the Mooer Radar & S10. So it looks like I have a 3 pedal board if the Behringer is considered a pedal and not really the desktop computer stereo pre-mixer interface that it is. The V-Amp 3 is more like a Line 6 Pocket Pod, only larger. And it also has amp models too. Stayed under $ 200 US.

The Behringer V-Amp 3 is enough to get by with on it's own merits. It has built in Noise Gate, & for metal, Savage Beast & Nu-Metal amp models, Also has any cabinet configuration you could spend a small fortune on. Has all the effects one would never use as well. I usually either run the Behringer by itself or I have a 2 pedal, pedal board, Rowin Noise Gate into the VHT Redline V-Four. Bam, done the open back, Pyle PVAMP60 with Reverb combo amp is what it is as a 1x8.

Hi Ola, great pedalboard, no reason not to use it live. However the lack of a preamp pedal (clean one) is very noticeable. Also in your previous video on using the NUX Cerberus into a IR loader (simulating connecting it to the FX loop of an amp). Dude, stop connecting distortion pedals to poweramps with no preamp! (either real or digital)

You could substitute a lot of this pedals with an HX Stomp and get the revv G3. Could be pretty nice as well. But I have no idea what this pedals are costiny

Hi ola, how do you use your axe in live? I don't have one yet, but i'm trying to figure how to change amps channels and Axe's patches with only one controller or stomp instead of amps's footswitch and axe's pedalboard. I'd use the axe in the send/return of the amp... as you ... and meshuggah LoL Many thanks

Most suggestions I have heard say to put noise gate at the end or middle of the signal chain. In this rig you put it at the beginning. What are your thoughts on where to put the gate?

You should test the Danelectro Fab Tone! It definitely looks nothing like the way it sounds. Absurds amounts of face melting distortion. I don't mean it's a "good" pedal, but for oddball sounds, it's hard to beat. That was my go-to back when my amp was 16-watt Dean amp with only one channel.
