Ultimate Iron Farm House Guide [Aesthetic Farm] [1440p HD]

Ойындар

In response to my Iron Farm House 2.0 Tutorial, this video explains the iron farm mechanics in Java and how to fix the issues with the 2.0 version.
I also create a version 3.0 that is designed to be more stable and bug-free.
At the end of the video, it tells you how to modify this farm house to make it works in Bedrock Edition. It is actually really easy and simple to do in Bedrock!

bedrock player here. absolutely loved the 2.0 vid, and realized halfway through building it was for java. went here to finish it. thanks! but when modifying for bedrock, where does the zombie go, or does it no longer need a zombie for the bedrock modification?

@@capt_what Zombie is not needed for Bedrock. If you have put the name tag on the zombie, trap him somewhere else and no need to waste that tag. Perhaps build him a jail. 😆

I really appreciate you don't just make it look nice, you dig into the mechanics, and then clarify and improve on old designs. IT goes to show you're not just taking common farms and making them pretty, you're expressing mastery over it and you're showing an understanding to fix errors and otherwise makes it not only good looking, but functioning and improvable. Also despite you stating you're not the best with explaining in English, you're quite the natural and can find just the right words to make it clear, concise, and easy to understand. I understand putting it into words may be a bit harder, but it's genuinely quite impressive.

One potential quirk that makes it look like the farm stops working, if you are constantly leaving the area (ie the chunk is unloaded), then come back (and chunk reloads) I think this is zeroing the villagers sleep counter, so no golems will spawn. This will actually correct itself if you stay in the area (ie keep the chunk loaded) until night - the villagers will attempt to sleep, reset the counters, and all will start up again.

Great video! I really appreciated your explanation of the iron golem mechanics so we could troubleshoot on our own if we’ve made small changes from your design to fit other looks. I thought I knew exactly how it worked, but ended up with a golem spawning and killing my first zombie because I didn’t realize a trapdoor was a spawnable block when it’s on the top. I can’t wait to use this to update my world. You don’t need to apologize for your English- it’s really great and your subtitles are super helpful for helping focus and/or when watching on mute. I’m looking forward to more videos from you!

It took me ages to make a viable iron farm. I kept trying out several different methods to make my own 'cottage in the woods' type. I eventually made one a year ago and although it worked, it was not as aesthetically pleasing as yours. When I found yours a couple of months ago I fell in love with it as it was similar to my cottage on stilts farm but looked so much better. I will still keep tweeking my original design, but yours has made it's way to my hardcore world and replaced the old one for now!

Which was because I had another villager within 150 blocks of the farm, which made the iron golem spawn somewhere between the two. Make sure you follow the edit about the leaves and the fence too. I made a quad farm on our discord group server. I had so many accidents with it, you wouldn't believe xD put the villagers on the corners, 2 groups shared 1 zombie. So many zombies died while building that. They either died because of the sun, iron golem spawned as I was walking a zombie, iron golem spawn while the zombie was in it's spot but the golem could reach it, no zombies spawned near me, server mates skipped night, villagers weren't cooperating. It was an adventure for certain. The bopping zombies however are a great idea, I had awesome results with them. Thank you for making a quick troubleshooting video on the builds. It really means a great lot.

Love your farm design, spent hours troubleshooting some fixes before realizing you already put most of them in a video. Just a quick note on the spawning radius at 2:30, while the villager spawns golems around it in this radius, its better to space out the iron farms based off the village subchunks, as of more recently theres no more "village center" on java instead. Any subchunk (a 16-block-high section of a chunk) containing a claimed bed, bell, or job site block is considered to be a "village center," so if the beds/villagers are in the upper NW corner of a subchunk, that subchunk becomes the center, not the beds. So spacing out your farms using chunk borders is fantastic to make sure they are properly spaced, because while 16 blocks is all you need, if those beds happen to land in the same set of 3x3x3 subchunks then they merge. and all 26 subchunks in a 3×3×3 cube around it are also considered part of the village, as used in raids and some pathfinding. Also cats will spawn within a 5x5x5 subchunk cube around a village center, and patrols will not spawn when the player is in the same range.

Mine wasn’t working at first but then after I got rid of the trees in close proximity it worked perfectly! I was also unsure if it was going to work on a realm but it does for anyone wondering

Thanks so much for your awesome videos and gorgeous builds. Just built this block for block for my bedrock console survival realm and it’s working great ♥️ Built within our busy town hub so it is doable so long as you don’t already have a lot of villagers roaming around spawning their own golems. If your other villagers are contained, you only need two in the onsen so long as you have at least 8 other villagers (ie if you get raided). Just be aware the golem will not assist you during raids anymore.

I suspected where you were from based on the accent, but I still somehow got a chuckle out of the *annoyed Cantonese* caption. It's obvious that you're working hard on English fluency! Keep it up, you're doing well. :D

Great build!! copied it in my world aswell. I replaced the slabs with magma blocks and hopperminecart going underneath to counter the issue with the golem getting out of the kill zone. Mostly will use more of your build from your channel they are awesome!!

I will like to note for bedrock that you can relight the campfire after it has been extinguished by the water and it will stay lit, so you don't have to do the sign method. Hope this helps

Thanks, I was finally able to finish the farm yesterday, there was just a villagers' strike, and I was wondering why the golems spawn everywhere but not where they are supposed to. Your video showed me the mistakes, now it works fine, even with the old onsen, I enlarged it anyway. ;-)

I just finished this 3.0 build in Java and it works fantastically. The only thing that caught me off guard is that I backed the farm up to a mountain and when I turned it on the iron golems started spawning on the side of the mountain as it was within 8 blocks horizontally of the farm's villagers. Thanks!

Amazing tutorial! I made this in addition to doing the changes you put in this video and it works very well! I already have so much iron in just a few minutes haha. I've been looking for a build for an iron farm that also is aesthetic for my survival world. Thank you so much for creating and putting this out for everyone. Your video quality and the support you offer to us is amazing.

Thanks for the tutorial aJack! I just built this with one small tweak on Java. For the kill chamber, I placed a floating lava block (held with signs) above a hopper with water flowing into it from one corner of the chamber. This severely reduces the startup cost as you only need a couple hoppers instead of the entire floor.
