I still have fond memories of grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup from childhood. More often than not, it was what my mom made me for lunch when I was at home sick. Nothing this fancy - the soup was Campbell's, and the sandwich was just American cheese on white bread - but still one of my favorite comfort foods.

Just made this i used sun dried tomato pesto and red pepper walnut pesto and plant based mozzarella i never had grilled cheese before it is my first time making your recipe and having grilled cheese also i used my new air fryer for this it is delicious just finished this super delicious i will be making this again soon Thanks Natasha

I can confirm that this WORKS!! I did white bread, and didn’t have the cheese she had so I got the mozzarella shredded cheese. I was worried that it would turn out bad, but it was SO GOOD!! The bread was nice and brown, (cooked at medium for 7mins) and the cheese was stretchy and delicious. I 100% recommend!!!!!

Grilled cheese was the one thing I always got wrong. Now I finally know why. My sandwiches were too crispy and the cheese wasn't even melted right and always became a dry sandwich. My first mistake was buttering the skillet with almost frozen butter. Then I would make sure both sides of each slice if bread got in that butter. 😂😭

This sandwich is absolutely delicious!

You can accomplish the same thing by adding aluminum foil to a cookie sheet, buttering your sandwiches on the OUTSIDE with melted butter and seasonings ( I always added Garlic, Onion powder and Italian herbs ) placing the Cookie Sheet at the top of your preheated 400 oven for 5-7 minutes NO Need to turn over...you can make 8+ Sandwiches at a time, I used to feed by Son's Baseball team this...ALL of the Mom's wanted to know why their Son liked my grilled cheese more than theirs (hint: seasonings in the butter)... I used EXACTLY the same cheeses used in this Video all Package sliced and bought at Walmart, and Great Value Potato Bread.

That sucks i can see the video tomorrow at 8:30 at the time it's start i have school anyway later i could watch it love you're recipe.

I made these a little different from a recipe I saw elsewhere. I still used the same cheeses but the 7min was taking a bit too long for my family so I sped it up a bit 😄. I put a square of butter in the pan, put the bread in with one side holding the cheese, closed the sandwich after about 30 secs to 1 min, and poured a little water toward the sides of the pan while the sandwich was in the middle. Steam obviously was created and I immediately closed the pan with a lid to let the sandwich "steam" for again less than 1min. The steam let the cheese melt completely and it only took like 2min to make! And the bread was still crispy and not soggy since just a little water was added and it didnt touch the sandwich.

That's the longest cheese-pull I've ever seen, on a cheese toast pull!!! 😋🧀🍞 I make my own bread loaf, using Natasha's Cinnamon Roll Recipe, then making cheese toast using white or yellow cheddar cheese along with mozzarella cheese. Yummy to the Tummy!!! I've also used at one time or another, provolone, parmesan, american, monterey jack, garlic, swiss, asiago, colby, gruyere, muenster, mexican, and pepper jack, cheese. What would life be without all of it's plethora of CHEESES!!! 😀😍😋👍 Thanks Natasha, for your version of the Classic Cheese Toast Sandwich.
