Ultimate DIY Overland Rig? Sportsmobile Inspired 4x4 Van [Adventure Ready 006]
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
You might recognize this beautiful beast as the infamous "Sasquatch" owned by Jason Darrah of Primal Outdoors. We got to hang out with our friend during Overland Expo PNW and he gave us an informal walk around of this magnificent, DIY build that has become his home on the trail.

I’m happy to see that the guy you featured is still at it! I follow his channel and Chads channel and few more that I can’t remember but these guys helped me get through a tuff period after my son passed due to suicide. The pandemic would have been extremely difficult without him posting his videos. Oh his soundtracks are amazing and so are his dogs! Keep going strong💪🏾 23:17
“Lusted”, Perfect terminology…SWEET Rig!
I meet Jason b4 you guys. His Wheeler and Daisy days.
Always a treat seeing so many favorite 'tubers together! Great Walkaround with awesome people 👍🏻
I’ve seen the method bead grip units hold 4lbs on a Tacoma a full froading weekend trip. Was so impressed, I ordered a set for my runner.
That thing is awesome!! Talk about a labor of love. I love the slide out bed and the wood paneling. It's like a cabin on wheels
Great video, I follow Jason for a long time. Beautiful VAN, love it! Greetings from the Netherlands
Our 2 favorite creators coming together for an awesome rig walk. Great video guys!
Thanks for covering Jason's work. He is the first "Overlander" if you will, that I started watching many years ago. He is a down to earth creator.❤

Love it! Not driving around with a sink, four burner stove and an oven taking up valuable space.
Morning everyone.
Thanks for your video. Such a lovely family. Your contents give me a lots of energy to me. Thanks
I'm not an overlander like y'all, but I appreciate both of your channels. Anything that can give me ideas how to stay out longer in my trailer! And y'all both do an excellent job showing the amazing natural beauty that keeps us all coming back to the outdoors. PS been binge watching your season 1 Alaska trip, amazing. 👍

Save up and get a Fridge/Freezer and get Lithium Batteries🔋 too
2 of my favorites to watch in 1 place
Jason is awesome, we were lucky to meet and hang out last summer at his patreon event
You're welcome everyone for my popularization of full body bedlining... I was one if not the first in British Columbia to have a full body bedliner... it was my daily driver for years starting nearly 11 years ago... maybe you saw it... a black lined 02 Dakota... and I swear it improved my fuel economy... maybe the golf ball effect... idk... she was a head turner though... had loads of people taking pics... haven't seen any though oddly enough... Anyway... it's a sick rig you got there... I'm looking to do something similar... nomad life is calling...
Awesome as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Two of the best overlanding channels. Boom!
Awesome van!
I've been following Jason since he was known as Primal Archer, before the name change. Awesome guy and Van
Awesome
well done
I have been wanting a 4x4 van as my tow rig!!
I traveled in a Sportsmobile for several years. It was great for me at the time, now I prefer the much smaller footprint of my Tacoma. Great vehicle though and it's still in the family.
Great video. 🤙🏼

Thank you!
A very cool setup he has… love my camper, but I’d definitely trade for a tough 4x4 van like his.
Absolute class, rig totally love it. Weird taste in cereal. Maybe it’s because I’m Irish and didn’t grow up eating Froot Loops, I just don’t get it. Try it, found it to be completely weird.
Howdy, Jason. Miss seeing you, dude.
Love Jason's channels. Have yet to see him cook Fruit Loops in his van on his channel, though;)

Haha! I was literally thinking the same thing while I was editing this!
👍
Jason just about has me convinced to commit to 4x4 van camping/long-term overlanding instead of my Jeep Commander and a plan to convert an enclosed utility trailer which i have yet to acquire. 🤔

Cuestión, why he van over the jeep, is it the space?
i think he needs to switch to Diesel heater to eliminate condensation.
Great Ytube Channel 👍🔥👍
Starting at $42k, probably $20k-ish to date, what a deal both in lifestyle and money!
Sasquatch Easter eggs...lol
It's my dream vihicles 🤘 but I don't have enough money...
I can’t find what year his van is anywhere
MPG?
Wood is really heavy. I wonder if he could change over to aluminum supports? Would free up a little space too since the aluminum wouldn't be so bulky.
Big fan of Jason, both channels. 🥾⛰️🇨🇦❤️
Y’all talk to much
