I have no idea why but I couldn’t seem to picture how this would all come together. I thought all the different reds would look too kitschy and dark. But of course I was so very wrong and the end result was so amazing. I am so fascinated by your brains and your ability to come up with these concepts. The ability to plan it and see it in your head is incredible! Beautiful room and amazing job!

Like seriously how do you guys think of these little detailed touches that just makes it even better. You guys are so creative. Love the positive vibes that I get from your videos.

I was looking at every single detail. Everything is perrrrrfffect. From the wallpaper, the painting, the rise staircase look, posters with their family, lighting, the snack station, the amazing couches with throw pillows and Blankets. Mr. Kate put lots of thought and effort into every single element and every single corner while designing a room. It always always comes out so perfect every single time. I have been following for a long time and your growth is amm-mazing. Your husbands skills can always match up with your design ideas. You guy are like made for each other. I love you guys.

Moon is such a well behaved boy. I love how he calmly enjoys his time with mommy and daddy.

Movie theatre vibes are so real, the curtains and round lights complete the look.

Before, sometimes, you did renovations that people did not have the money for, but sponsors kicked in and made it happen. Y'all are still going to do some of those, please? I love seeing big KZread folk with millions of dollars getting upgrades in taste too. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE those episodes. I loved seeing you taking care of a sister! I just also love the ethics of you taking care of people who don't really have the money to take care of their selves. That part is important too and seems noticeably less common than it once was.

I don't want them to move to TV :( I don't watch TV and they would have to change to be on TV according to ratings or whatever the execs want. They totally deserve a TV show, but I really love them here!

I love these “celebrity” Collabs, so NO hate, but after all of them I’ve seen, I was watching Savanah thank Kate & Joey, and when she was saying how thankful they were... it hit me, that I’m sure Cole & Sav ARE grateful, but since they probably have enough money to afford this themselves I thought it might be a good idea that for every “celebrity” makeover they did, that the celebs donate a decent amount for Mr. Kate to do someone else’s home who couldn’t afford it, and maybe not just one room, but enough funding for a few rooms, or a condo/small home, etc. ...? I dont know i just thought it sounded good. Obviously I don’t know if the celeb or a sponsor or Mr. Kate themselves fund these makeovers, but like I said, just a suggestion. Spread the love! Loved this video, as always. ❤️

I think I've heard mr.kate talk about for the OMG we're coming over collabs, that the youtuber's pay all the costs for the reno they just aren't charged a service fee since it's considered a collab. But yeah, they are paying for the design

lemme just say- seeing the clip from before the pandemic where everyone is so close with no masks or anything just feels so odd to me anymore and honestly its making me creeped out like how this is what life is now. It's like when u get sick and regret being able to breathe for granted, I feel like weve taken just LIVING in general for granted if that makes sense.

Agreed. I think this show is set up now, and everyone approves the makeover first, then they move forward. Here is why I think that: They tried to say that when they started working on the nursery, there were restrictions, so they didn’t meet in person. But then after initial consult, where they agreed about what to do, they weren’t surprised about the other things that were supposedly confirmed already. They tried to say that there weren’t legal restrictions prior to the makeover (like there are now where I live, of wearing masks in public, and staying 6 feet apart in public, or with other people who didn’t live with you), so they FaceTimed them after the initial consult because it was before COVID) and they moved forward because everything was already approved. Then, because Zealand was already born (and it was announced), they wanted to reveal before people saw the room in the Labrant fams vlogs. Because after restrictions happened, they decided to continue before Zealand was born. And just say that the restrictions that because of the legal restrictions, they were super careful, and only dropped off that DIY kit in person. Then with the reveal, they tried to say they FaceTimed them and set up cameras inside. But if you pay close attention, the cameras and moving around (meaning that there was a camera person in the room with them, just like today). So I think that the room had already been revealed, off camera so they would react to the things they supposedly didn’t know about, and then do the reveal on camera to prove that this was still a corona concern. Then, when they walked in the room, and said, “can you do more rooms”, they cut out the parts where they said they would do the movie room. That is why they “announced it” at the end of the episode, and the movie theater was already done (and they previously agreed to make their movie theater over) and Sav was still preggo. Then the restrictions were lifted for work, and so they continued to air this episode as scheduled I think it was already agreed upon that they would do the movie theater first for free, as another episode for their channel, but were waiting for the restrictions to be lifted to air this episode, (and when Zealand was born, they wanted the reveal to happen whenever they posted that makeover (but Zealand had to go back to the hospital for high bilirubin treatment) and they aired it anyway. But, when they walked into the nursery and said, “can you do our whole house now”, they cut out their response, because maybe they had all “OMG Makeovers” to air. Instead of at the end, saying “go back and watch the nursery”. They didn’t want to continue doing free makeovers for them over and over.

delusionmilkshake baby Zealand is in the NICU because of a very serious case of jaundice. His numbers are in the 15-19 range and if they get to about 25 it can cause brain damage. So yes, lots of prayers please! 😊

The movie theater I went to as a kid had red curtains covering the screen that opened when the movie started & the lobby was red carpet, red walls, red rope's around the snack bar, just brings SO many memories back. This room is just so beautiful!!!!!

Both families are admirable! Mr. Kate's transformation of the movie room is beyond spectacular. It's amazing! Especially on how they brought that VIP movie theatre vibe into the room while complying to the strict health precautions. You guys are incredible! :)

The personal touches, attention to detail, playful creativity, sheer talent, and totally different custom style of each Mr. Kate makeover is truly so sweet and inspiring and clearly based on a core value of happy family/couple togetherness. Like the custom movie posters and nursery soccer team animal paintings, oh my gosh, those could easily be family mementos for years. I'm building a branding and website business and hope to make my clients feel just as special and their style and tastes brought to life like that! Mr. Kate is an example of a strong, meaningful brand and a brand inspo for me and I'm sure so many! ♥️🦋

I think these unique rooms a really show their creativity and work ethic. The movie room, the spa, they’re both above and beyond, they really challenged themselves and did incredible stuff

i mean i feel like it says a lot that the LaBrant family can wait through a pandemic and the Ace family couldnt wait a few months while Mr. Kate was on baby leave...

@@A.l.e.x.e.a So basically... they both had set up a video with Mr. Kate to do the main entrance of the Ace family's house and maybe a couple of other rooms ( I think). During the time of planning, Kate had the baby and her and Joey a break from the project for a bit promising to get it done soon and she asked them not to buy anything annnnnd well Austin did buy things and basically decorated the whole room they were gonna do. There is other things that happened too but that was the main thing. Overall it seemed like Kate and Joey were stressed the whole time while working with them. (And i mean no disrespect, I still watch the Ace family sometimes, just not nearly as much since that happened)

Alexea Malaletkin Kailah w Yes and they went on the baby-moon (like honeymoon instead it’s before the baby is born) and they were vacationing but Kate was ALSO working at the same time, designing the layout, concept ideas, etc... So really even though she took a vacation/time off she was STILL working and dedicating a lot of her time to work on the project for Austin to literally just do himself, so it was just a waste of time/work for Kate and disrespectful to her and Joey.

Okay so when I get my own house I need a copy and paste function because this was stunning!!!! Honestly, if I ever had the funds I would want them to do a library room for me✨🤍 like classic/beauty and the beast style with a second story with the cute stairs (kinda like the ones from the great Gatsby in his closet) 😍 that would be an absolute dream!

Mr kate is a decor genius she has blown me away and never deceive me in the 2 years I’ve been a creative weirdo. This is my favourite design she’s made. She is such and precious and unique soul. Tank you kate ❤️

The final product is AMAZING. I wasn't sure about all the red but after seeing the room all finished and... I'm seriously blown away!

I didn’t know a room can look so vintage and yet so modern.

The ambiance of the room is so relaxing someone may end up falling asleep during the movie. Especially those big red comfy couches; feels like sitting on a cloud.

I love how genuine Kate and Joey are. They are certainly very amazing and special people in this world. Always giving and caring for others happiness.

This is SERIOUSLY my dream home movie theatre room!!! My husband and i have been discussing what to do with our house in the next 10-15yrs and we’ve decided we really want our own home movie theatre. Honestly I’m obsessed with it I’m literally going around my whole house showing my family. Like that’s a dream and the room is so so so cool. I would honestly let you guys design my whole house when I get older. I love every single room you did. I’m obsessed.
