  I am a sugar addict because I was fed sugar as a child. It wasnt worth it, it should have never happened, but yah know capitialism is blinding.

  @@SNIPEZONE23congratulations!!! big accomplishment. It was better if I never had sugar in the first place. It was never worth it. I am addicted to sugar like a heroin addict. they say no matter how long you have been away from heroin, you always want it. Never used heroin but understand it. heroin is from a plant too

  This is lovely, I did the same for my son when he was little, I bought candies from a wholefood store (UK) that were only sweetened with fruit juice, and were vegan. Once a week he would choose his handful, I had a special tin. I also bought him 'Halva' which he loved, that was also in the tin. My son is Autistic and ADHD, so artificial dyes and colourants, would totally spin him out. Healthier choices are great so they don't feel like they are missing out what other children are having. My son would tell me how certain food made him feel, so we worked together, he was very aware from a young age how it affected his body and his brain, so he understood why not to eat those and opt for healthier/cleaner treats

  I’m allergic to artificial dyes and they’re in *everything* in the U.S., including medications. It’s really frustrating.
