Make sure to check out the Meat Mafia podcast and check out their new beef protein blend: nobleorigins.com/collections/shop Recently my son was sick and we gave him the protein powder with some raw milk to ensure he was getting sufficient nutrients. I'm grateful there are products like Noble around to help out as a nutrient-dense option!

There are other beef isolate protein powders such as Equip and some from True Nutrition which is less expensive... but they also offer garbage products so choose wisely.

I have IBS and carnivore has changed my life! I have noticed that during ovulation, i benefit from having a small amount of low oxalate organic fruit but meat and salt is such a healer and is my main source of food!

Ulcerative colitis for 40 years now and, at 70 years young, I am finally finding my way to healing through carnivore. I spent the last 24 years on the SCDiet, which took me part of the way by getting me off grains, starch and most sugars. I believe carnivore is going to complete my journey to healing in the next year. I can already feel it. No more iron and B12 shots already.

I am colorectal cancer survivor and I have diverticulosis and it took me 10 years to finally find out the best diet for me and it is no plant fiber. I have no issues with constipation, diarrhea or have had a diverticulitis episode since I cut that all out. Hope this helps others just so that those that are suffering after so many other treatments and remedies, will know that this is an option. 😊

This is a great conversation. I have been journaling lately as a creative outlet, but I’m going to start food/mood journaling to help dial things in. I really liked Bret’s idea of picturing the person that you want to be and really getting clear on that and why you are eating the way you are to support that vision. Powerful stuff.

Powerful Story!! I don’t know what I Had (similar symptoms as his) because I chose to not see a Dr about it. However, if I had not started the carnivore diet a little of 3 years ago now I most likely would have been to the Dr and on medications. Within 30 days of meat only my gut/system calmed down so much!! Which made me realize I was on the right path but probably took a few months to correct more. 3 years later, I still cannot add plants or seasonings back in. - I know some people that need to listen to this, but they would never try this diet and they would think we were crazy even though they need it

I haven’t eaten a carbs in two years. I eat 12 eggs a day a pound of ground beef and half a pound of steak and my water. Go carnivore

The eggs will have about 1 gram of carbohydrate per egg, but they're so well integrated into the nutritional profile of the protein, fat, and micronutrients that it's not generally a no-go.

Allow me to ask a couple of question about the Carnivore diet : I am now over 100 days into a Strick Carnivore diet (I only eat meat and eggs. Nothing else 400-500 g of cocked meat plus 7-8 eggs a day. Divided in 2 meals) I am now 34 years old, 181cms tall, 180lbs(+-81,5kg) at +-20%BF. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week.(lift weigths to help sustain or increase muscle mass and assist fat loss) I started the Carnivore diet to improve my body composition. I was a HEALHTY guy with NO chronic illnesses or health problems. I lost about 15 lbs in the first 6 weeks (Mostly water) but since then I haven't been able to change my body composition. I have now gone more than 6 weeks without registering any body changes (weight loss, decrease in BF% or measurements) I still need to lose at least another 15lbs of fat to reach my goal of being below 15%BF. However, I don't see how the Carnivora Diet will facilitate this process. I have not experienced most of the benefits common to Carnivores (Improved sleep, more energy/disposition, etc.) nor can I change my body composition. So I would like to ask more experienced Carnivores: 1- How long should I extend my experience with the Carnviroa diet to be able to lose the excess bodyfat I still have?(at least 15lbs of fat) 2- What is the minimum time you should maintain a Carnivora diet when it is not working for you? 3- When should i just start using the CICO model as a Carnivore? Thank you for your attention

My nutritionist told me 3 poops a day was normal. What the medical field calls 'normal' is the things they're observing most frequently but haven't killed the sufferer or took them out of work. You can be acceptably 'normal' in the eyes of your doctor but you must understand how beneath you your doctors idea of normal is - understand that 'normal' is no badge of honour.

Great discussion. I sincerely think that if you can eat real animal meat, seafood, and fish for nutrition do it, and avoid powders and supplements.

I have ibsd and am on Carnivore 5 weeks.had a few days two weeks ago with diarrhea twice daily but the last 3 weeks have diarrhea more frequently.. went on Carnivore too fast I realize now. I have lost 20 lbs from IBSD in past few months and losing more on Carnivore with intermittent sleep issues..feeling discouraged but am desperate enough to continue. please have people with IBSD on your podcast as it is difficult to know if the diarrhea is from Carnivore or IBSD. thank you Judy and God bless you!

This is normal as your body is in transition to processing fat for fuel (fat adapted). Some people new to the diet have sustained 6 weeks of diarrhea before their bowel movements regulated. There is one thing you can do to improve the microbiomes in your gut (your gut flora) and that is to add fermented foods to your diet. If you don't want to go through the trouble of fermenting foods yourself, then at a minimum, learn to like to drink store bought milk kefir. Just know however, that homemade fermented food and kefir is way better than anything you can buy in the store because you would create more beneficial strains of probiotics than the commercial stuff would ever contain. I do both (fermented food and kefir) along with carnivore and my IBS are now a thing of the past. Just do some research on both topics right here on YT and you'll find everything you need to get started. Clean Food Living channel has info on both. Also Dr. Sean Mara is good on fermented foods and tips on how to eliminate visceral fat.

Slow cooker helps a bit with mince beef. I get the whole thesis tho... Any ideas?Im relatively healthy, no acute issues. Chronic, but not bad, inflammation.

This is off topic, but I was wondering if anyone has ever gone on a liver and butter only diet? The reason I ask is I am 71 and have several medical issues and I was wondering if going on it for a month or 2 might jump start me to better health quicker. Thanks.

Professor Bart Kay recommends against going on a regimen with too much emphasis on liver. He cites the possibility of copper toxicity as the reason (and "it's yucky," but that sounds a lot like personal preference to me. 😂)
