Ukrainian soldiers take Russian trench in terrifying POV footage from Bakhmut

Ukrainian soldiers take Russian trench in terrifying POV footage from Bakhmut | This video was uploaded by the ‘Sunshine’ volunteer battalion of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence (GUR). It shows the Ukrainian soldiers clearing a Russian trench that has been bombarded with artillery near Bakhmut. The video was uploaded in April but appears to date from earlier in the battle for Bakhmut that was marked by months of artillery duels and trench fighting.

Actually, someone that I used to know had PTSD and she never was in a war. Corrections officer in a men's prison. She now works as a sergeant in a women's prison. Her coworker stupidly left her alone years ago and the male inmate started pummeling her and she couldn't reach her panic button to call for help. She would freeze up sometimes and have other symptoms.

What concerns me are the HIV statistics among orcs that are recruited from prisons. 1 in 10 ffs. I hope these soldiers are careful when they have to climb over all those dead Zs. We should send them some rubber suits to wear under their combat gear. It's bad enough that they have to go through the usual horrors of war and survive it all. But then to catch HIV as well... Something about this war has brought something home, to pretty much everyone. The common man now has the ability to see into the fog of war, and it's honestly mind-blowing. I've seen war footage from many different wars, but the Russo-Ukrainian war has been the only with so so much of it. Doesn't matter which side you support, this is definitely a brutal war, and it gets shown through the lens of the soldier for once. Basically just WWI but with modern(ish) weapons.

@@HentsSauce It makes the soldiers human, bravery, but the people in the government that caused this, on both sides are not. Both Russians for invading at all and causing hundreds of thousands of deaths and Ukrainians (with Americans behind) instigating the war, blocking nordstream pipelines to force russians to pay for gas transit tariffs through Ukraine where American politicians were getting the bag, demonizing russia every american election, threatening to join NATO, anti russian speaking attacks in donbass, cutting water supplies to crimea. All of the above were instigated by the US except the anti russian speaking attacks in donbass, both sides have their hands bathed in blood for this, one america/ukraine for pushing russia to where they would even remotely consider this, and two russia for actually going through and invading a sovereign nation, worst case scenario when their initial push failed they should have left the country, instead they doubled down causing more deaths. Now Ukraine is demanding also crimea back which means that there is no end in sight to war, more men are going to die in trenches till politicians at both sides have people trying to lynch them at their door.

Ukraine is not doing that well either, just a couple days ago they announced massive privatization (selling) of state industries, this is terrible for the future of ukraine, after the war all their means of profit will be gone/reduced by a lot and their services such as electricity or running water will be more expensive.

@@theguy8412 First, Russia recognized the borders of Ukraine, including Crimea and Donbas. There is an agreement on the Ukrainian-Russian border signed by both sides in 2003. Many other agreements and principles of international law were also violated. Secondly, it all started in 2014 when Russia annexed Crimea, then Donbas. According to international humanitarian law, the occupying state is responsible for everything that happens in the temporarily occupied territory. That is, during the military conflict, Russia is responsible for supplying water to Crimea. How can you say that this is all supposedly instigated by the US?! Everything that was done by the USA was AFTER the Russian invasion in 2014 (sanctions, etc.). Thirdly, what is "the anti russian speaking attacks in donbass"? Until 2022, in addition to the Ukrainian language, I also used Russian. Now I am ashamed to communicate in the language of the occupier. Finaly, if you have already started listening to Russian propaganda, then look at how they plan to capture the Baltic States, Poland and "reach the English Channel". This is pure fascism, which we fight thanks to our allies
